Why such a long wait? BTW remember the girl who was raped and killed in Las Vegas bathroom while the friend of the man watched? Remember the friend was not charged because tecnically he did not commit crime for not alerting LE that a crime was happening and he could've saved that girl's life. After that case I thought laws was changed so that if you witnessing someone being murder you were obligated to attempt to get help (if not endangering your own life.
So why no additional charges for the sister of AD and possibly Coe if he was residing in that trailer?

I don't understand the prosecutors office. I hope I will be wowed not disappointed.

What concerns me even more for the moment, and I know where you are coming from and definitely feel that her sister and Coe know much more then they are saying. But AD has NOT officially been charged yet and that worries me.
LE had hinted that they do not know how to charge her to make it stick. NOW THAT SCARES ME.
The other low lives who should also be charged with contributing to endanger a child should not be free.
Seems nobody is addressing any thing to hard with any of this bunch. Seems nobody/reporter/interviewers expect this bunch of low lives to have any morals; nobody is asking them any hard questions, and it is infuriating to watch this circus and then it is all followed by a hushhhhhh.. hmmmmm:waitasec:

What I really want to know is Who is Brad WHO IS HE REALLY????
because this case feels like it is getting "F"d up on purpose.

Once again Im bringing this post back made by me on 12/3/09 at 10:28 PM.
This angel died in the same manner Shanya died,it was here in NC,not far from where I live. This case took 2 years. I believe we will find the same with this case,others came forward,after the beast was charged.
I was hoping there wouldnt be others but I have my doubts (sadly & infuriated)
There has to be a reason why this is taking so long.
here is my post back in Dec. and yes ,I do believe that most States now a days keep alot hush hush,I think its gotten to be a very dangerous job(investigation) more so than ever,look at what were dealing with.
If a beast can do those things to a child with out blinking an eye,imagine what they're capable of doing to those that investigate.

Im bringing a post back I made from a few threads back on this case, this may give us some idea of why this case may seem to be hush,hush,.
First I want to point out once you get to the link is that this monster was never charged until the brutal death of this other angel, Chasity Sumner,it appears that during this almost 2 year investigation 3 or 4 others came forward with rape.

Never once were we updated of ANYTHING,and there was nothing to be found on the case,it was like it fell off the face of this earth.

Im praying this is not the case with Shaniyas case,but it could very well be that there are more victims, I think this case will take some time and I hope NOT ONE STONE IS LEFT UNTURNED.

Remember there were other children in that house,plus with the record MAM has,I doubt he was even partially civilized to live his life in any "normal" fashion while out on the street and most likely the same with AD.
Like some others have said,sadly, I believe we have more to come.
This also happened in NC about 7 miles from where I live.

This case is about a beautiful little girl that lived in my county,NC also, this tragedy kept me up for days, very similiar to precious Shaniya, this case got very little publicity but Chasity Sumner 7 yo was , raped,affixiated,and murdered and dumped in a gully very close to her house.
I have just found this, thanks to one of your links, I always wondered what that animal ended up getting.
I hope we can count on this case to get justice for Shaniya.
Youll see from doing a search that very little is out there with this case,it was very hush,hush,
Its beyond sad of what Shaniya went through to get publicity,but,on the other hand I believe progress is made when it is so exposed to the media that we can finally show outrage and maybe,maybe change laws in favor of child protection and concern.

Yes I too said it before I cant remember when but this case concerns me very much and I realize it will take a long time to get tho trial. I dont like the circuse and then the hush....

Yes it was AD's cases that were rescheduled for Feb. Let's hope this is in order to bring further charges. If not, then I should expect to see LE dismissing some--as there's no way your child can be murdered in the course of your trafficking, then abusing/prostituting out your child--and it not qualify as felony murder.

At one time there was a court date for MAM on 1/10/2010 for the infraction speeding charge.

I wonder if this has something to do with a "The hand of one is the hand of all" clause.... in SC, we have a stipulation in the laws- "The hand of one is the hand of all"- that allows for people to be charged for a crime (ie. murder) if they were present when the crime was commited, even if they did not actually participate in the crime. However, I have a feeling proving that the sis and Coe knew anything is at bes a wash up.... I doubt that either one would be stupid enough to admit to knowing anything....

I do not know the laws in your state. but I love your siggy "the Serenity prayer" it's one of my favorite.

Anyway I do pray for justice for this little Angel Shaniya. :angel: :innocent:
But I hate to say I have little faith in that entire case.

Fayetteville Police Chief Tom Bergamine's job performance has come under intense scrutiny over the handling of a series of rapes and the botched response to a 911 call from the home of a triple murder and suicide.

At least one city councilman says the Police Department needs a new leader; another council member openly questions Bergamine's ability to lead an expanding force of 380 officers struggling to reduce property crimes...

Last week's revelation that police had withheld from the public reports of seven sexual assaults or rapes in the city dating to June became a public relations nightmare for the department. Police say one person may be responsible for the assaults in Fayetteville, as well as another one in Hope Mills and one on Fort Bragg.

Fayetteville police acknowledged the assaults for the first time Monday.

The news came two months after Billy Maxwell Jr. killed his wife and two children before fatally shooting himself. It took police more than an hour to respond after someone from the home placed a call during the attacks. The person placing the call didn't speak, and the call was dropped.

The Police Department spent two months reviewing protocols and preparing a report of what went wrong with the 911 call. City Manager Dale Iman said he received the extensive report last week and has begun reviewing it.

The City Council plans to question the police chief Tuesday about the secrecy of the rape investigations, as well as to inquire about the 911 report into the Maxwell shootings.

Neither Iman nor Bergamine would discuss the 911 report ahead of the meeting.

Bergamine defended the length of time it took to prepare the report.

"It was just a very thorough investigation, and as we went through the investigation, there were some things that needed further clarification," the police chief said.

Bergamine - a 32-year veteran on the force who rose through the ranks when he was named police chief in April 2007 - said he will be ready for the meeting Tuesday.

Thank you kik for posting this. And a reminder to everyone that Ft Bragg and the area surrounding (to my knowledge) it is about to be overhauled due to incoming military from other bases closing. They are trying to spruce up bigtime. Been through Fayetteville and Ft Bragg many times over the past few weeks. The police and MP presence is up. Perhaps this has something to do with this.

It's everything, everywhere, Song. No one does their job, most public servants take the easy way out. I have learned this THE HARD WAY. If anyone wants to dispute this, Im up for the discussion!
