i hope i did that right!
The family was not allowed inside the home Tuesday evening after it was deemed a health hazard due to extensive sewage leaks, authorities said.
Police K-9s, firefighters and sheriff's deputies searched the area throughout the day Tuesday.
“We are searching for her and hoping to find her alive, but we just don't know at this point,” Chance said.
Sadly, I fear the worst. :cry:snipped from your link Fairy1.
what do we think at this point? I am sick with worry.
I agree, this smells like yet another staged abduction. I'd just think though with the houses so close together, that if somebody had gone out with a car in the early morning, it would've been noticed. Unless of course, it was last night at an hour when it wouldn't seem so odd. MOOI so wish that someone checked the car engine at 7:00am this morning. It just seems like such a logical thing to do, to check and see if the car had been driven recently.
I believe it had been...to dispose of her body.
And might I add... "I hope heads roll at CPS for this, all the way from the caseworkers to the stupid judge who allowed those kids to return to that parent!"
And I doubt the sewage issues with the house just cropped up over night. How regularly were these visits by CPS? :waitasec:CPS issues, drug issues, sewage issues... good Lord, what happened to this poor child she deserves so much better. rayer:

Well now I do have an idea why nobody would've noticed anything going on in the house or if somebody left during the middle of the night with the car. :banghead: MOOI searched police reports trying to find name of mom and/or boyfriend and found a slew of reports for sleepy hollow but none for 1116 sleepy hollow...hmmm...but what I did see was the violence in that trailer park is scary...look here:
http://police.ci.fayetteville.nc.us/policereports.aspx
I selected 3/1/09 throug today and sleepy hollow for incident location and found a number of records - results here: http://police.ci.fayetteville.nc.us/policereports.aspx?do=search
Select case number and you will get a complete police report...this really scares me for this beautiful baby...so, so, sad.

Just curious now how extensively mom and the boyfriend have been questioned by LE. :waitasec: And where is the 7 y/o tonight? MOOExactly, if not an abduction who knows what time during the night she was last alive and well in that home.

I agree Momtective, I think the reunification efforts by DCF are not protecting children by putting them back in these homes. I live in Cali and read the opinions issued in the appeals court. It will make you sick to read what these children have endured and how many chances these parents get at ruining their children's lives. The world just seems to be going crazy and I find it very scary.
And I didn't even read anywhere near all of them to get the picture. Just my opinion but there seem to be more "sewage issues" going on there than the plumbing problems with the house, if you know what I mean. MOOExactly...this is exactly what I thought when I read it.
How can so many people live in this trailer, yet it is unfit with sewage? How did CPS go there and not know this?Something is very wrong with this picture, imo. This is a mobile home. How is it neither mom, the boyfriend or the 7 y/o saw her there on the couch for over an hour before she was noticed "missing"? Even without the dogs not picking up on her scent I would've ruled out a 5 y/o dressed in a shirt & underwear wandering outside into the cold before sunlight. This obviously isn't a non-custodial parent abduction since her dad just arrived from out of town. And it seems the SOs aren't suspects. So to me, that leaves mom, boyfriend and the 7 y/o ~ and Shaniya wasn't ever on the couch at 5:30am. MOO
