Court just wrapped for the weekend in #JonathanRichardson murder trial. His grandma will resume testimony Mon at 10:30am. #teghanskiba

Speechless, utterly speechless. I don't know how this child's grandparents can live with this. :( I look at my own grandchildren and .......

Has any other mention of jury reactions other than alternate 'looking sick' been posted? And has anyone stated if any members of Teghan's family were in the courtroom?

Thanks all for the updates. I had to leave my office. I burst out crying - I had NEVER done this during ANY trial. NONE. This is horrifying. Beyond comprehension. That <modsnip> is lucky I am all the way in Seattle.

Wuv u, amiga,

A bit more *good news* for North Carolina people. I just turned on Channel 11 to catch the news. Dr. Raymond Cook got out of prison today and he can reapply for his medical license back. For those who aren't familiar with this case, Dr. Cook was a local plastic surgeon who while driving drunk, struck the car and killed the young woman, the ballerina. Can't recall her name. Jury couldn't agree on 2nd degree murder, so he walked on a manslaughter, only served less than 3 years. :(

Kelli O'Hara indicated she would have a "live" report on the 5:30 pm News (EST). If so, this is the live stream of WTVD news which started at 4 pm EST:

Photos of all involved at link along with the horrible picture of the young woman's car at the crash scene.

And yet defense attorney stated 'JR didn't sexually abuse her'. :banghead:

I know. I know they have a job to do but how do they go home and sleep at night? Do they have children? I just couldn't defend someone like him. It's horrible. He not only physically entered her but he tortured her with objects. Ugh....give me one hour with him and one hour with the so called mother and I will save NC tax payers some money on 2 trials.

I wonder who, besides mom and boyfriend, saw Teghan last? I find myself wondering just how long she suffered. This is the worst case i have ever followed.

I know what you mean and I'd love to torture this guy and mother to death with you. But the money NC saves on their 2 trials would have to be spent on ours!!!!

I wonder that too. Teghan's obituary shows over 100 photos of her as a happy baby, toddler and child. Yet, it is know that she was abused by her mother for some time. I'd like to hear from people who have known the family over the years, i.e. friends, neighbors, relatives, the father!

Doctor 'nearly vomited' upon seeing tortured girl
Four-year-old Teghan Skiba was allegedly tortured inside a shed by her mother's boyfriend in 2010.

Okay, this may sound a bit off or something, but this just came to mind as I was reading everyones posts on 'live/no live feed'. Watch trial/can't watch trial. A couple weeks ago Michael Vick was supposed to speak at the greater Raleigh chamber of commerce 'evening of champions'. I was involved in the protest of that event with a group, 'the positive pitbull'. Over 75,000 signatures were collected on a petition against MV speaking at the event. A lot of people I came into contact with said something like 'he did his time for dog fighting' blah blah blah. I said 'dog fighting was the least of his crimes' and went on to explain the brutal crimes he committed in the torture and murder of dogs. Many people had no idea MV had done anything but back a dog fighting ring. As I was reading this discussion I thought, the same way MV was able to cover up the real crimes he committed, by avoiding trial, avoiding the details, Richardson would be able to do if no one hears what happened to this little girl, Teghan. Richardsons says 'she fell off the bed' & 'I disciplined her for bed-wetting the same way I was punished' and a segment of society can move along, secure in the idea 'these things don't happen here'. We live in rural Johnston County, where Teghan was murdered. I have never been able to drive/ride along these rural roads now without looking at people's out-buildings and wondering 'what could be happening in there?' I scan the countryside for ANYTHING that might appear a bit off. When I walk with my dogs I'm always looking and listening for anything....

Completely O/T but I just had to say THANK YOU for working against MV and his participation in "Night of Champions" (very difficult to write MV/"NofC" in same sentence due to fact my eyes are rolling so hard I look like Las Vegas slot machine.) Bullys of any breed are my favorite, esp. pitties (my DD spent many happy hours rolling around w one who looked TERRIFYING when she was 4/5 yo. That dog thought thought my E. was HIS took care of her as such.) We're currently looking for bully to join us full time.

So thank you. You are my hero.

Back on topic: I plan to send some time today emailing, tweeting, FB regarding the live streaming of this trial. I want to know WHY.
