I'm thinking - The judge stating the jurors could deliberate into the evening that the judge thinks deliberations won't take too long (i.e. they will all agree on the DP). I certainly hope this is the case. And bless their hearts. They will never, ever be the same again.

It is my understanding that she was only there when she testified. Other than that, no she has not been there.

Some of the prosecution's objections were sustained, so yes I think the defense did get spanked.
