It makes me sick. I wonder how long he has been gone. Did they suddenly realize "Its Christmas, the family is going to want to see him?" Breaks my heart. Also, I don't think $100,000 is enough for the "mother." A little cocaine gets you higher bail.

I'm going on a rant, so bare with me. This really pisses me off. There are so many really good people out there that don't and or can't have kids. This is just so despicable. This just boggles my mind. Have the courage and honesty to let them be adopted or placed with someone who truly cares. I just don't understand...whatever. If they caused this little boy harm, I hope they're punished to the fullest extent of the law.

Merry Christmas in Heaven, Tristan. Celebrate with all the other little angels gone to soon.:xmastree:

I am one of those people who may not be able to have children! It infuriates me as well.

So well expressed, Los. I am not able to have children, so these horrible, despicable crimes hit me hard. Poor little guy; my faith is shaken to the core. Mother left Tristan home alone on Christmas Eve day??!! No words to say that would pass the WS TOS.

Fly high with the Angels, dear child.

I went down to help search. The command station is at the apartment complex, but they are not wanting any volunteers for searches. My guess is that LE is leaning on them to tell where he/they put him :( They had the trash area closed off with tape...not allowing other residents to put their trash in the dumpsters...wonder if they found something in there or just doing it as a precaution.

I was so hoping that there was good news about Tristan. RIP little angel.

You said this so well. My best friend lost another pregnancy a few weeks ago, she would've taken this little boy in a heart beat. Unfortunately our "system" only lets you give a child up easily when they are young.

Killing your child and then reporting him missing on Christmas Eve. That is a whole new low.

Fly with the angels baby Tristan. You're safe now.

Has anyone else been through the pictures on his mom's FB? There is one where he is in his PJs. The room is nasty. No sheets on the bed, trash, and things scattered everywhere. I'm allowed to post it, right? She is in jail and its of him.

Maybe what happened is that this poor baby made a mess while he was left alone and the dad snapped when he got home and found it?

If you zoom in, that may be the Batman shirt he had on :(

Damn, why do these parents do this? My hinky meter went off straight away and if they are charging the dad with murder there must be some compelling evidence to lead LE to believe this precious little boy is no longer alive. Poor little man.

I'm actually not going to pass judgement on the mom yet. I really think she may be a victim herself. I suspect she made terrible decisions but did not purposely put her child in danger. I'll wait to see what the details of her charges are.

Fly high little little one. I pray this was the best Christmas you could have ever had, surrounded by LOVE and PEACE.

Thank you terracotta for trying to help search. Bless you!

This sweet boy deserved so much more! So much more.

And- in that photo- it looks like an air mattress with a foam mattress type top on it... ? Or maybe I'm just not seeing it correctly.
This poor little guy.

I really hope his Mama didn't realize what a this man was - who she left her son with.
Tristan should be running around like a crazy little 2 year old today, playing with his new toys & making memories of Christmas.

I was going to write the same thing. Either his shoes are missing or they aren't.

That apartment complex sure didn't get "stellar reviews".

The reviews from 4 years back were mostly very negative -- maintenance was slow & poor; mold; roaches; thin walls between apts. The reviews from weeks ago were better. The rent, as of 1/1/15, was $612 for a 1 bedroom and up to $669 for the largest 2 bedroom. It's a place for university students with cars and prolly young adults or anyone with a limited budget, IMO. Good location, looks okay from the pics of the outside, but IINM, a fairly older complex. Some comments -- grain of salt, of course -- said "unsafe" WRT personal safety; police are called often; etc., etc.

I've been in the Raleigh area for 30 years, but I have never seen these apts. I am familiar with the main roads near it. Not the best area, but not a "slum," and the general area is not reputed to be a bad area to reside. Dunno.
