Perhaps, but how old was your daughter? I can see this working for a young child, but not a ten year old. EB didnt have a night job....I know some teens will sleep 12 hours a day and some very young children, but a ten year old? Maybe you are right, but I dont think its likely. I know everyone is different, but I know there is no way my ten or eleven year old, or 8 year old for that matter are going to stay in their rooms for 12 hours without food, or the bathroom at the very least....not likely at that age is all Im saying....
The problem with any of these points is that we don't know what EB is saying to AB. He may have been told she was up while he was out and that Z had decided to go back to bed, so we really don't know that Z was in the room for 12 hours. I get the sense that he is very laid back and does what EB tells him and believes whatever EB tells him.
In regards to the ransom note, we don't know that he saw the note or at what time it was determined to have been written by EB.
If Z was no longer going to school and things were deteriorating at home she may have developed depression in which case it would be easy for Z to have stayed in her room all the time. (As a sufferer of depression that is easy to do and yet when having to be in public no one would know you just put on a good face often).
Zahra being a polite, thoughtful girl I would imagine would do the same so no one else worried.
In my opinion I believe AB doesn't really know what is going on (could be wrong) and that the fire was to draw attention to the note and that the police would then search the house to find Zahra missing.
It would then become a case of mistaken identity.
this didn't happen so EB had to come up with some other way to report her missing.
EB was stupid enough to write the note in her own hand without any attempt to hide her particular style.
:smiliescale: in regards to the abuse claims, seeing who has made them it is really difficult to verify their legitimacy.
:detective: what we do need it more info on sightings during the last 2-3 weeks confirmed outside of the family.
:banghead: I find it sooooooooooo frustrating that these kids are now going missing seemingly off the face of the earth without a trace. I fear it is going to be new trend to leave reporting as long as possible to minimise tracking and evidence.
This and the Kiesha case are the two that I have been following and it is tearing my heart apart how these two girls can disappear without a trace. I hope with all my heart that they are found alive (I know it isn't likely) and found soon and the culprits put behind bars forever.
