Date Body Found: July 8, 2020
Location Found: Norfolk, Nebraska
Estimated Age Range--

Circumstances of Recovery: On July 6th, 2020, two citizens discovered what appeared to be human bones along a sand bar on the Elk River in Madison County, Nebraska. The Madison County Sheriff's Office collected the two bones and then conducted a search of the area. The area is located west of the Ta-Ha-Zouka Park at the previously listed GPS coordinates. The search did not reveal any additional remains. The investigating agency believes one of the recovered bones is possibly a human cervical vertebrae. The area received extensive flooding during March of 2019.

"Possibly a human cervical vertebrae"? It seems like that should be verified by now. I'm going to email the investigating agency to see if it was ever verified to be human or if any additional remains were found.
