I hope this is ok to post, if not, please inform me and I will remove it.

On NG last night, she and an Ed Lavendera were speaking about the "handy man"... As you can see in the transcripts from the snow, mention was made that they think that the "handy man" "may have been" staying in the abandoned home where they searched the cistern. My question is, if LE or anyone else had suspicion that the "handy man" had stayed in the home, why did they demolish it? Did anyone hear if they did a forensic search of the home? Sorry if I missed this info or if this has already been posted. TIA!

Sorry if this has already been posted (hard to keep up with everything in here). More info on "Jersey" via his former landlord.

What I find particulary interesting about this report (if true) is that "Jersey" ended up staying with a friend after getting kicked out of the girlfriend's room. This friend apparently lived across the street from the Irwin family. So...did DB or JI know him?

Thanks for posting that MK! So Jersey would have a vantage point to watch the Irwin home, eh? And he has a record for thieving and stealing and breaking into homes! Hmmm.

OT Today showed video this am of baby Lisa. She was talking baby talk to her mommy. Heartbreaking!

I hope Jersey has galloped far away to greener meadows while bleating "maaahhhh" because IMO, the defense attorneys will likely be looking for a scapegoat.

Until Jersey's mental health status is known, it is ridiculous to compare him to the delusional monster that abducted Elizabeth Smart. Just because Jersey doesn't have a home, is unemployed (but tries to find work), doesn't own a car (but transports himself on a bike), and participated in petty crimes in his past does NOT mean that he is a psychopath or a delusional person that abducts babies.
The "thanks" button wasn't enough. *hug*

I hope he has her and can find it in himself to return her like Hopley did with Kienan Hebert last month.

IMO, "Handyman/Homeless guy had Nothing to do with Lisa at all.

Also, without questioning him, couldn't the defense attorneys still use him as a scapegoat. Use this "handyman" theory to create some kind of doubt in a jury? If LE doesn't find him, the defense attorneys will just say that they didn't do a thorough job.

Right you are! The police investigated and cleared Mr. Kronk in the Casey Anthony case and that didn't stop the defense team from using him as the scapegoat in that trial.

and I believe that if this gos to trial, DE will try and bring up the handyman.

I believe they had to demolish the home because it was in such bad shape that it would be dangerous to leave it as is. I am sure that they would have searched as much as they could safely search before doing so.

I don't know for a fact that they searched thoroughly, but I have no reason to suspect that the police were negligent in searching the house either.

Anyone have a profile on the parents yet? I caught up with videos on the mother. She has a flat affect which in my mind says there coulf be mental issues and/or perhaps medication. I know people are going to say but she's crying. She is carrying the same expression throughout even with crying. The father appears bewildered/depressed. Can't get a good handle on him.

The extremely tidy house was totally unexpected. I could take a stab at it but I better wait.

I didn't find the house to be extremely tidy. To me it looked clean, and cared for. I didn't find anything extreme about it. I think the term was a bit of an exaggeration on the part of the media.

As far as a profile on the parents, we have had some body language experts give opinions, and some statement analysis.

I'll try to find links!

I just listened to that video twice and it did NOT say that Jersey wandered from home to home looking for a place to live.

It said that Jersey had lived in two homes in that neighborhood. This is consistent with the other video recently posted which stated that he was living with his girlfriend and they couldn't pay the rent. They had to move out and Jersey moved in with another friend in the neighborhood.

According to both of these recent videos, Jersey was not "homeless".

3rd time's the charm. It's after the commercial break in the middle and the reporter clearly states -

"he has been around the block, asking people for a place to live and for a job"

If that report is accurate, then yes. But that still doesn't really answer the question of what on earth this guy would want with a 10 month old baby. I could see him maybe watching the house, breaking in, and stealing a camera, video equiptment, jewelry, booze, etc. I could even see him watching the house, and entering with the intent to force himself on DB. But snatch a baby and nothing else except 3 cell phones? :waitasec:

Stretches my imagination. Unless, of course, he's just plain off his rocker. Which...he MAY be. I don't know.

I doubt he Does....... DB's Uncle posted some interesting things on Facebook.

If what he says is true this started before Oct. 4 and baby Lisa is in heaven.

What kind of interesting things? In heaven? Is their talk of him killing people? which facebook page are you referring? tia

I still do not understand or have any clarity about the difference between the handyman, Jersey, and the so-called homeless man. Are they supposed to be one and the same?

My impression: He's a man who kind of house jumps, stays with friends, stays with girlfriends, but has no permanent residence of his own. Because he doesn't hold down a regular job, he asks around for odd jobs. Not all "homeless" people are street dwellers. I assume that he drank away the money he did earn, but wasn't a scary drunk.

My ex-step-brother (?) is very much like this. He's a sweet kid, but he's bipolar and has trouble keeping down a job or a house. Every time a mission or church help him get his own place, it only lasts a couple months. He is "homeless" and yet he rarely (if ever) sleeps on the streets. If it's not a friend, it's a shelter. He's a fairly good "coffee house" singer, so he tends to roll through friends.

I suspected from the start that he had a girlfriend, and IMO that makes him and his girlfriend possible POI, IF neither can be found locally.

He went missing Before Babu Lisa

I can't for the life of me figure out whey the police aren't releasing Jersey's picture (sorry if this has been discussed, haven't read everything).
Isn't the probation officer not knowing where he is a violation of probation? Wouldn't that in turn mean a warrant would be issued for his arrest? If so, then why not get the picture out to the general public to help find this wanted man.
Feel free to pick apart.

They would not have to name him a suspect or person of interest in the case, they would just simply have to say...we are looking for this man because we want to question everyone in the neighborhood who may have seen or know anything....something like that anyway.

Thanks for that, Pensfan.

For the first - and probably last - time in my life, I liked what NG said last night:

GRACE: I`m trying to get my head around this. So that theory would be that a homeless guy comes into the home, he doesn`t steal things, he doesn`t grab money, he doesn`t get any food. He turns on all the lights, takes the cell phones and the baby and leaves? Is that the scenario?

I think the statement "lived in abandoned homes" was likely incorrect as none of the neighborhood residents stated such a thing. The neighborhood residents and both video stated that he lived in two different homes in the neighborhood. None were the demolished home.
According to this news report "police say the abandoned home next to the well that was searched Tuesday, is where Jersey supposedly lived"
http://www.kctv5.com/story/15677057/police-asking-questions-about-handyman-in-search-for-lisa

yes. Jersey was last known to be seen by the owner of one-eyed jacks saturday night. no verified sightings of him sunday that I have seen and lisa went missing monday.

Which leads me to believe that he is not involved.
