The spots/holes on the PT are NOT bullet holes. I think the notion they are holes drilled to pull out crushed damage to the panels is more likely. They could also possibly be stickers, but they look too large for stickers. The positioning of the "holes" is far too neat and methodical to be bullet holes too.. I own over two dozen firearms, including shotguns, high powered rifles, hand guns, WW1 and WW2 guns, etc. It would take a ginormous gun to make what looks to be a 3" hole in a car. Certainly these holes are much larger than a .45 cal hand gun. Rifles actually have smaller diameter projectiles than hand guns. The common AR's are only a bit bigger than a .22 in diameter.
Gun shot stickers are pretty common amongst either red necks or "ghetto" folks. I see them here in FL somewhat often. Usually you put them on the back, so people behind you in traffic can see them, too.
