Good question! If the lie is that he saw the cans in the blue bin, it could be that he saw something that he didn't realize at the time was either evidence or even a bag storing... and he doesn't want to admit to it because it would be like he failed to notice anything out of the ordinary and he could have done something then and there.

Got me on this one!

Could the blue bins have disappeared like Caylee did??? Maybe they hoped investigators forgot about the containers?????

Okay I can't possibly go back and listen to George again, my ears are bleeding. Did anyone else hear George say that on his way to the tow yard he stopped at the Amscott to pay his phone bills???? I will stand corrected if anyone else remembers different, it was a long night LOL

after watching all of these interviews my opinion on CA's motives remain the same. My opinion about GA has changed. I don't believe the "good ol boy" thing anymore. I don't believe the "I don't want my wife to know this but I'll tell you all the truth" routine anymore. He says it way too often. He states it way too often. He points out that he is being truthful with them (LE) way too often. I don't think he had anything to do with whatever happened to Caylee but he knows more than he is saying.
In fairness to GA: Maybe he does say more of what he knows in interviews that we haven't seen.

I don't remember which bill he paid, but he did say he went by Amscott.

Ok, in part 3 of Cindy's FBI tape at 2:56 we have her discussing a change of addy card which was sent to the Hopespring address in AH's name. Now here is where we get a ton of insight into how Cindy's thought processes work. After Amy relays the story which Casey told Amy about how the A's were having problems and Cindy and George were giving the house to Casey, Cindy's mind moves right over the fact that Casey lied through her straight white teeth (even after the agent brings that up) and jumps to how odd it is that Amy is saying this. She then goes onto use this as a jumping stone to the 'generic Zanny nanny theory' tying it into Amy and Ricardo's apartment while using the pic (which casey said was taken at Zanny's) as proof. The agent again asks her if she quesitoned Casey about telling Amy the house would be hers to which Cindy responds "No, I didn't think it was relelvant at the time" or something similiar.
Not one time does Cindy stop herself and say, Casey clearly concocted a whole script and followed it. Not once does she say that Casey is at fault for this. Instead she goes on and on about 'codes' Casey gave her and her attempt at deciphering Casey's story. She takes everything Casey tells her at face value with zero qualifications required. It's a very sad thing to realize your daughter has been lying to you in such a magnificent manner, but it's even sadder when in the face of blaring truth, you still choose to worship the devil.

Really good post. The big problem with letting your child CONTINUE to lie chronically unchallenged and unconfronted once you realize it's going on and in not taking substantial action as a parent to discontinue and disallow your child's lyin' ways is that it is not good for the child, in fact it's really, really bad and could very well result in them leading unproductive and/ or miserable lives, or lives that would be damaging to other people. Many parents have been there, particularly with older dependent children and adults, but if you want your child to succeed in life you have to help them become the kind of people who are straight and honest in important ways...if you can. If you can't, you must let them know that you know who they are and will check out everything the say and won't hide their propensities from others, if other come asking. You talk to the kid, but if theres a pattern YOU get help for both yourself and for them. Cindy went to a councelor for herself, but I wonder if the lying ever came up or if she ever got counceling for Casey, or tried. Now, Cindy either just believes or just covers. Look at all the damage Casey has done, is still doing. Cindy has enabled that bigtime and continues to do so. It's wrong and it doesn't help anyone. If Cindy keeps it up, it'll destroy her life eventually, even more than her daughter has already done.

Good Point! Does anyone know if the container was in the trunk?
