Some remains were found Friday near Dora and Lydia on the south side of the Missouri by the railroad tracks. Investigators are not sure whether they are human or animal remains, but my research into forensic anthropology says that "The most common human bones to be mistaken for animal bones are the bones of infants." Adult remains are easily distinguishable from animals. Still no word on the remains, so we don't know if this is relevant to Lisa's case or not, but it certainly made me go "hmmm."

Police are investigating after bones that are believed to be human were found near Riverfront Park on Friday afternoon.

Riverfront Park is very close to where Lisa's house was.

The remains were found near railroad tracks.

There are lots of tracks where Riverfront Park, so it's hard to pinpoint exactly where.

While it's unknown at this time, officials said the bones appear to be human.

Grant said the bones appear to have been there for some time, at least through the summer.

A police dispatcher said that once on scene the responding officers requested a dead body report, which further pushes the belief that they are investigating a dead human’s remains.
