The north south rd ( per hollye's map ) shows hotels, walmart, homedepot and possibly more stores/restaurants..they have very limited time frame to check - from 230pm-7pm.

It could not be seen but it will still be worth it to check all cameras. Who knows maybe she entered Walmart to get something or see someone? Her clothes are identified so it could be easier to check maybe.

And/or... Maybe there would be footage of suspicious looking cars/drivers that could lead to helpful clues...

What happened in Amber Dubois case that you all are thinking may have happened here? I'm not familiar with Ambers case at all.

I am very curious to know what led to the reports yesterday (or was it day before?) of them searching behind the McDonalds/Hampton Inn near the scenic railway tracks. While obviously in the general vicinity of all the rest, it is across the beaten path and not at all directly in the line of expected travel between her school and home.

They do it here in the UK, it can be an extremely helpful tactic. I agree I think it would be helpful in Abby's case, especially considering the tourist industry. There will be people who are blissfully unaware and they may have seen something important. If LE didn't do it maybe a someone like Nancy Grace could, like they do on Crimewatch here.

Abby was seen leaving school at 2:29pm last Wednesday and exchanged a series of texts with a classmate between 2:23 and 2:53pm. At 2:35pm, she was seen walking on the power line trail from Eagle’s Way.

There were multiple unconfirmed reports of someone matching Abby’s description between 2:40 and 3:30pm walking on the North-South Highway.

Her last cell phone activity was at 3:07pm when she sent a text message to the same classmate on the west side of Cranmore Mountain.

I have been wondering if they have been combing thru dumpster unloads from since the 10th - looking for any of her belongings. What a task that would be.
Have no idea where dump/ landfill is. Wow.

when you click the Timeline that is on PDF that was provided by the FBI, it says last text was 2:53pm

It's just the train tracks and open field (smalls) and woods (a lot) behind the hotel/mcdonald's, so definitely not dumpster-related unless the hotel's trash is back there. (I've stayed at that hotel many times, but never paid attention to where their trash goes.)

I bet they have been at least segregating the trash drop offs from the area to search if needed (if they aren't searching already). I recall hearing of that being done in a number of recent cases.

Her last phone ping was at 3:07 on West Side Cranmore Mountain
Her last unconfirmed sigthing was by Rotary /Settlers Green Entry ( by the mall ) from 2:40pm-3:30pm

IMO, LE thinks she doesn't have the "Phone" because someone saw her ( or maybe they have video now or a receipt by that person who saw her what time was she in there) at Settlers Green Entry around pass 3pm while her phone is pinging at West Side Cranmore Mountain at 3:07 pm. If she's believed to be walking at Settlers Green Entry and her phone is with her, then it shouldnt ping at CM by 3:07PM

That's incredible. Although it would have been better if while they changed the rules they changed them so she could get paid.

Her colleagues are brilliant.
