I believe he was retired from the service. Maybe he has a pension from them. I can't tell what year that is because they really don't change much from year to year, but it looks well kept.

It is reletively new, extended cab. Obviously they were not living in a mansion or anything but he has a pretty new if not new F-150. Just weird to me.

The only thing preventing my mind from going where it's traveling is--Is Mom staying with her husband/C's SF at this time? One would think LE would consider she could be at risk. I'm hanging on by a thread to someone else close to Celina...but barely.

In this case, C's body likely wrapped in a blanket may indicate her demise was caused by someone who had a close relationship to her.

I agree epiphany. I wonder why the water? Why not the woods? Just scratchin' my noggin over this.

Go to edit (it should be a button on the bottom of the post.
Then when you have the post on your screen, just backspace over the names you want to erase, hit save and you should be good to go. If you need more help PM me.

Oh, and to post a link - just copy all of the text in the address bar of your web browser. The text should start with http://...etc, and the address bar should be up on top somewhere. Then you can paste that text into your post and it will put the link there for yo.

I did it,,,ahhhhhhh old dogs still learn new tricks!!!! I am going to write down about the link thing.
Thank You!

I think Celina's demise occurred in her home>body wrapped in blanket and weighed down with something>placed into green plastic garbage can>placed on flatbed truck>placed into river.

Perp has what he/she thinks is a clever idea: do the evil deed, then wrap everything up in a neat little wrapper (blanket), thus sealing and depositing any evidence away from the crime scene; only, ironically, that blanket turns out to be not such a good idea after all.

There is something about that whole situation that is bothering me. She has a half brother and a step-brother, but her FB is crammed with pictures of her so called 'big brother', KM, who is a family friend, NOT her brother. IMO, she seems a little too cozy with him. Obviously, I have my own baggage, so I may be judging him unfairly. Then again, I may be recognizing similar dynamics that I remember from my own childhood. At this point I cannot tell for sure.

I just really want to know where he was that evening. His truck was there the day the investigation started. So he was probably around when she went missing. Did he take a polygraph too?

I have been wanting to know this from the start. I don't know what it is that bothers me but something just seems strange if he is not related. Where is he now? Any mention anywhere?

I guess checking to see if it had been driven in the long grass, maybe?

On a side note..
I know a few posters here are also following the Lauren Spierer disappearance - like I am. Boy I thought I saw enough of those extended cab pickups to last me a lifetime...

Me too... I was thinking about the white truck too... I'm so sad that we have no news on Lauren =[

As for this case, if it was the SF, I'm sure the police knows by now. And I think that might just be the case. It seems like a psychotic episode. Also, putting her in a white blanket is kind of a "nurturing" thing... I'm thinking the SF did this and he is probably not well. I wish people with mental illnesses had better care to avoid these situations...

I think if they thought he was a risk to himself or anyone else they would have put him in the hospital by now on a 72 hour hold, and they can do that..

Perhaps, based upon her time of death and having to return to residence by certain hour. If body weighed down in water, was hoping it would not be discovered. Buried>shovel not available? Time factor required for digging, etc. Leaving vehicle and going into woods.

All in all, I'd guess mainly the time factor.

Perp seems less than bright to me, imho - wouldn't you expect her to be found in the water close to the home??

If we reflect back on the stuff we've learned Mother's involved with children being disposed usually wrap their child and put them in water. (there's a study on that I used to have bookmarked but this is a new puter and I don't have it on here).

Of course men can too. That means nothing but that popped into my mind when I read that is all.

I got to go now. Thanks in advance for posting, I'll catch up in the AM more than likely.

And early in the threads, some of us were saying that it could be possible that the perp. resided in or near the residence, and also, at the same time, created a false identity and was communicating with her online.

White blanket? Where was this reported? I just heard a blanket. tia

I'm sorry! I think I just assumed white blanket because of the parents coming out with white blankets... my brain probably associated them. I'm not sure if the blanket was white.

Celina's mom in happier times. It appears that Lads and Ladybugs is more than just "work" but that she may be co-owner:

"Retired Canaan third grade teacher JB left, and Louisa Noyes, right, opened a consignment shop in Stewartstown, Lads and Ladybugs, across the street from Solomon’s Store. The store
features clothing for adults and children, as well as toys, books, movies, games, shoes and winter apparel. D J photo."

Sorry, snipped name.

Thanks for the link to the photo. Seeing a happy picture of LN made me feel better about what kind of life Celina had, after the having only a couple of glimpses of an obviously shattered LN this past week.

Yes, I would think so. Lack of cooperation could be due to his illness. We shall find out soon.

Wasn't it her aunt who mentioned that they thought she had slept in her bed at least part of the night? I'm going to have to go find that.
Wonder if that is where the blanket was from.

She was very attractive in the picture too. And a happy smile. jmo

Sorry, snipped name.

This is my first posting here and I hope I don't break any rules....noticed on the page shown above, there's a display ad to the left of the article which states the store opens at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday. No idea if that has any significance.

I liked to see that picure of Celina's mom too. And I think it's cute that she opened a business and was trying to make ends meet. Definetly put another face to this little girl's mommy.
