BBC iPlayer - Watch BBC One live

If you are able to access this, BBC Newsline has just shown the extended interview with Karen about finding Noah’s bike. It shows her house, her CCTV camera, the storm drain and the drain that Noah was found in 1km away. The storm drain was shown padlocked and the reporter stated that “it is not yet clear whether or not the drain was locked” on the evening Noah disappeared. More questions to be asked, this time of the council.

Just a few stills from the broadcast - not sure if it’s available on iPlayer outside of NI. Note what appears to be barbed wiring across the metal fencing around the drain.

Ms Crooks first saw the bike in her driveway on the Sunday evening.
It had been thrown on the ground.
It was still there when I went to work on Monday but it was early but later on, when I saw the piece about Noah on Facebook, my heart sank. I realised it had to be his."

Ms Crooks, immediately called the police at 7pm.

When they took the bike away on Tuesday afternoon,

'I wish I had seen Noah when he left his bike outside my front door'

I'm more confused now than ever, so Linda Patterson saw him cycle past her house and dump his bike and she called police and they took it away.

So who is this Karen woman (interviewed in video) who also called the police when she too found a bike and they took it away.

Maybe I need more coffee.

also @Stella8 thanks for the stills - this one in particular makes me think he could have got through the gaps. But then as HKP said, the locks looks very shiny so was it unlocked ?

One way or other he was down those drains. Either he went in himself or he was put in there by someone. If he was put in by someone would they have went to the bother of getting a new lock fitted ?

As we don't seem to be getting the PM results you'd think the PSNI would at least disclose where they think he entered the system and how ?

Finally (sorry if it has been already said) there couldn't possibly be any thoughts of foul play if Noah is being laid to rest tomorrow (Wednesday)

Molly I am drinking the largest coffee this morning...

I need to re-read that last article a few times I think. Saw this on Q-radio news today - first time I have heard mention of there being a gate - which by Karen’s inference here I’d say could have been opened when Noah entered it? Karen considers the drain area to be a “part” of her garden, where kids play. Would you have noticed a lock before? I hope answers come forth because if there are any of these drains near me I’d really like to know whether they are locked or not!

Woman's heartache after finding Noah Donohoe's bike outside her home

So what made Linda go out to look at Noah in the first place?

Sounds to me like she is saying quite a few people saw him - but unclear if she means people in her living room or other neighbours in street - and that waist up nothing looked out of the ordinary- just a flash of a kid cycling by on a bike? Why did she go out to look at what was happening? She says he “didn’t appear to be in distress.”

The woman named Karen only saw the bike abandoned near her home and the next day called police. Linda Patterson said she saw Noah ride by and also saw the bike later, after he had left it there. I think she said several people saw him ride by.

And, yes, I don't think there is any evidence of foul play. LE can probably tell from the surveillance footage whether or not there were any suspicious people in the area and they know approximately when he must have entered the drain system.
