Young guy being interviewed on CNN, says that the gunman was there in a group of five. He's also saying that they all had weapons? If anyone else is watching, please correct me if I'm hearing him wrong - he's pretty excited and talking a mile a minute.

If there really were 5 gunmen, that sounds like they were "inspired" by the recent massacre in Kenya. However, I feel like if there were that many gunman, there would be multiple fatalities.

That's the guy I saw, he was quite the chatterbox!

This is so crazy. If the gunman left the mall, what was all of this about? To prove a point? To practice for something much worse later? I'm very happy that, so far, nobody has been hurt, but this is just so weird, and I can't wrap my mind around a motive.

Bizarre, and if the person named is the gunman, I'm hoping they find him soon and get some answers, provided he is involved.

N.J. mall shooting: Police raid house of possible suspect

Photographer Andrew Mills was on the scene and saw law enforcement officials enter a house at 5XX Emerson Ave. in Teaneck at about 12:50 this morning. The address matches that of Richard Shoop, who earlier this morning was identified by two senior law enforcement officials as the preliminary suspect in the Westfield Garden State Plaza mall shooting late Monday night.

Wonder who all is living there? Could be roommate? Sibling? Parent?
My money is on his living in his parents basement.

He appeared to have dark hair IMO and was wearing all black. Did he go to the mall with his brother?

Why trade his AK-47 for a screwdriver?

It appears several people live there via the white pages. All with the last name as the suspect.

May not be the shooter but a family member at the home who had a screwdriver.

At this link you can see the last picture of them arresting the shooter as having hair and it's dark colored hair. Doesn't appear to be an older man. I think they got him. Glad no one was harmed. It's the last picture.

:seeya: the article doesn't say the person coming out of the house is the shooter. it does however say the person exiting looks older than 20.

i cant find anything that states there's been arrest.:blushing: apparently that is not true.
