If you look at the photo--the first one, in the sunlight--his hair does have reddish tones, and he looks more like the UID.

I think his facial structure closely resembles the model—maybe as much or more than Blake's, if the model is accurate. His height, weight, and locale are also a fit.



And the hair sample is in the same color family as Duenas' - Duenas' hair matches the hair sample in texture and hue better than the more golden wig on the model does, IMO.



Last seen wearing blue jeans, red tee, black jacket. "His family last saw David Duenas in the summer of 1984. Over the years, his family has made attempts to locate him but no leads were located."

Vucerevich is already on the list. I almost didn't submit him because the circumstances seemed prohibitive and the hair seems wrong, but the demographics are spot on and the facial features are really close. He'd certainly be a long shot, however.

You guys are amazing! Currently we have 331 submissions of Missing Persons who fit descriptors of our UID!

Progress on the special project list has been phenomenal! We have provided the case numbers, reporting agencies, and contact info (ie: phone #) for all but a dozen cases. Hopefully, LEO's efforts to contact the agencies will expedite the pertinent info (ie: dentals or dna) being uploaded to NaMus or other clearinghouses. Once that is done, it could open doors to solving many of those other cases as well.

Woo Hoo . . . . rockin' it Websleuth's style!!! Oh yeah. :D

Yes, V seems like an extreme longshot. I got his name on the list you wrote that needed more detail. I'll continue working on that list.

Rickshaw, I just came back on here to post that about the missing tooth, as I reread the Garden Grove Missing site which also mentions it--missed it the first time! I've been thinking about this guy all day. And yes, I couldn't find a thread, either, though I'm going to do some googling next.

My mother was an artist and all of us kids inherited a bit of her leanings...I've dabbled in some art, including portraiture, informally, and in looking at this guy's facial structure, it does seem to be proportionally quite similar. If you look at his "auburn hair" photo (far left), shave off the beard/mustache and trim his hair a bit, he'd look a lot more like the model. The middle photo (which is on NaMus) looks like dark brown or black hair to me--which doesn't seem to match his written description.

The features are sharper on the dark-haired photo, though, and again, if you remove the shaggy-hair, bearded look and put that golden blonde wig on him, he'd look a very similar if not identical to the model (IMO). He has a narrow face, including temple area, a low forehead, a medium heavy brow line, a long, tapered jawline, the lips come forward a bit, and the chin recedes a bit. His face is long, especially from the eyes to the chin. The nose (as seen clearly in the middle photo) is identical to the model.

On The Charley Project, his height is listed as 6' to 6'2" and his weight has been listed as 150 to 190 (which seems like a broad range to me, but perhaps he had lost a lot of weight prior to disappearance).

Thank you, too, for the NCIC Case Number!

I am hoping that the family that was actively looking for him is still available for DNA tests (or that those have all ready been done).
