“linear scar with parallel suture marks under right breast”

That’s a surgical scar versus a jagged scar. Did she have a lumpectomy or breast reduction possibly?

"Brigida" is the Italian form of Bridget. Is there a missing person with that name? Could it be her child’s name or her mothers name?

“linear scar with parallel suture marks under right breast”

If it was a breast reduction, wouldn't she have scars under both breasts? Could be a lumpectomy, if it's actually on the breast...it's unclear if "under right breast" means literally on the breast, on the underside, or on the ribs area actually underneath the breast. Could also be some sort of stab wound / cut that required stitches?

Could she have been a recent migrant from the DR? Or why unidentified for so long.i recall a similar case a while back with a Hispanic lady from murdered in ny eventually identified.

''Known only as the Bronx Jane Doe, the woman was found bloody and bruised in the Bronx greenspace on May 2, she had been strangled to death. Police say she was discovered when children, playing handball, knocked the ball into bushes, where they found her partially clothed.''

''Vasquez also has a message for the killer if he or she is reading this story.

“Why? …This is someone who would give you anything, all you had to do was ask, if she had it, she would have given it to you. You took her, you basically stole her from her children, her mother — who died with the hope that she would get to see her daughter one day,” Vasquez said.

Anyone with any information regarding Monge or her death is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (for Spanish, dial 888-57-PISTA). You can also submit tips online at crimestoppers.nypdonline.org, or on X (formerly Twitter) @NYPDTips. All calls and messages are kept confidential.''
