Apparently there are no dentals on Nancy. Does this mean no dental care?
Ok, So I have been doing some research on this and I did a route from Los Angeles, CA to Boston.
Here is a link: http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=L...dyAdd-w;FT6kjgIdYIZf-w&mra=mi&mrsp=4&sz=9&z=4
It if you look she would pass over the I-90 and be right there in the area. Actually almost anywhere in so. cal or arizona would cause the person to pass through Caledona, Ny. One of the routes would take her through New Mexico which might explain the jewelry and they may have taken US 20 to avoid I-90 and that is how they ended up in Lima.
Second, I found a description of a person she was with at the diner. Here is a sketch:
He was described as a white male, 5'8" - 5'9". Was wearing a flannel shirt. Had wire rim glasses. He also drove a station wagon with wooden sidings.

The other was worn through the crown.
Her dental history has already ruled out
several possibilities for identification.
What crown Apparently someone needs to call this police officer and get the actual facts. All reports I see says no dental work?
May I please have the link to this article?
As horrible as it is, I think this is the order in which it happened. I am basing this on the fact that the head shot had to have happened while she was looking at him.
The killer then apparently dragged
her, face down, feet first, about 10 feet
into the corn rows, then stood over her
and shot her in the back with a
38 calibre gun.
I wouldn't assume no dental care; just means they do not have them.
I bet they can now get DNA off of that coat- and now that I look at it, I really think the coat was not hers.

I think that we should submit Nancy. I am willing to put something together to send in unless someone else wants to. I fell like this is a group effort. Is there any specific way that we should submit?
Reading up on Nancy there is no mention of her family other than providing DNA. It seem the group she was with was a cult that encouraged you to hand over your assets and she was 18. Her family may have been estrainged. With matching blood types and no dentals, both hitchiked and liked jewelry. Nancy was thought to be headed to FL (tan?) and one of her doctors later lost his licence due to sexual misconduct although the sect was celibate. So maybe she needed to get away but couldn't go back home.
There is an awful lot in common here.

THE LIVINGSTON REPUBLICAN June 21,1979
Livingston County Sheriff Richard A. Kane commended his men and credited them with the apprehension of a fugitive from justice from the State of Florida.
Sheriff Kane said the apprehension was the result of a check of a suspicious vehicle at the Lake Glenn Apartments in Livonia by Deputy Sheriff J. David Haskins. A check of the vehicle and a police computer check of a 15 year old unidentified female and a 22 year old male showed that the female was wanted by Florida Authorities as a runaway and the 22 year old male
Steven Wolff Hendrikx was wanted by Florida Authorities on several charges, including armed trespass. According to Sheriff Kane when Deputy Haskins attempted to arrest Hendrikx, he was assaulted by the 15 year old female long enough for Hendrikx to escape. The girl subdued by Haskins and committed to the Juvenile Detention Center in MonroeCounty.
An alarm was then broadcast for other officers in the area and Hendrikx was apprehended a short time later in the Lakeville area by Sheriffs Sgt. Clark Young Jr. and Senior Deputy William Mistretta. Hendrikx was then committed to the Livingston County jail to await extradition by the Florida Authorities. Hendrikx gave the address of 811 Hilcrest Blvd., West Palm Beach. Florida.
Livingston Republican Geneseo County Seat Nov. 16, 1979 LATE BULLETIN
Livingston County Sheriff Richard Kane said the body of the young woman found slain in Caledonia could be a runaway. The body was found in a cornfield owned by Harry Clements, who was driving down Route 20.
My question was more of......did the police check when they first found Cali, to make sure she was not the same runaway from June?
I did find out that in NY, in 1979, if a girl was under 17, she was considered a child. At 17, was considered an adult.
( a 17 yr old girl was arrested for endangering the welfare of a child for harboring a 14 yr old runaway girl- and it was stated within the article, and boys under 16/over 16)
I wonder if the runaway reports for that county and surrounding counties were checked. If our Cali was 17, and/or no one bothered, there may be no report.
