I wonder if Steve and Heidi who ultimately made the decision to call 911, had discussed previously among themselves the dire situation that was Evanna. I mean like them KNOWING or even suspecting in the days leading up to 12/3 that she would be more than likely hospitalized if they brought her in somewhere and all the scrutiny that would come with that. They had been through these situations in the past, and those ended with children being removed. So, IMO they put their heads in the sand like a damned ostrich, and assumed her condition wasn't urgent or deadly or important...until her little body couldn't fight anymore, and she collapsed. In other words, they made the decision to save themselves (by not getting her seen sooner) and instead sacrificed Evanna. It's just so sad
