I don't see any information about the trial of Kim Potter that starts on Nov 30th. My apologies if you've posted the info about it and I've missed it. According to court documents, Judge Regina M. Chu will allow cameras inside the courtroom for the trial of Kim Potter, who is charged with fatally shooting Black motorist Daunte Wright earlier this year. Actually - I am not following that case... So that is probably why you didn't see it posted here.
Usually - if someone wants info on a case - they "tag" me - and I try to gather up info on the case & make notes as I go along reading the thread. Hopefully they aren't TOO long & multiple threads! LOL!

Monday, Nov. 15th:
*Trial set to begin-CONTINUED! (@ CT) – TX – King Jay Davila (8 mos.) (reported missing Jan. 4, 2019, San Antonio; found Jan. 10, 2019 in a field wrapped in a blanket inside of a black backpack) – for *Beatrice Sampayo Davila (65/now 67) arrested & charged (1/10/19) & arraigned (4/5/19) with 3rd degree tampering with evidence. Plead not guilty. $250K bond reduced (2/8/19) to $50K. Released (2/10/19) with ankle monitor. Removal of ankle monitor on 7/6/21.
Trial was set to begin on 11/15/21 continued to 1/24/21.

*Angie Torres (45/now 47) – Plead guilty (10/15/21) & sentenced to 8 years in prison.

(@ 1pm CT) - IN – Javon Blackwell (42), his sons Javon, Jr. (12) & Jayzon (11) (Dec. 30, 2018, Marion) – for *Brittany Diann Drake (29/now 31) arrested & charged (1/28/19) with conspiracy to commit armed robbery in connection with the 1 death. Plead not guilty. $30K Surety bond. Out on bond (1/28/19).
Trial was set to begin on 11/29/21 continued to 6/13/22.

Monday, Nov. 30th:
*Trial set to begin-VACATED! (@ 8am CT) – TX – Bryson Edwards (3) (Jan. 12, 2019, Dallas, stabbed by father; mom injured, fled apt with 7 year old girl) - *Brandon Demone Edwards (35/now 38) arrested (1/12/19), indicted & arraigned (1/28/19) on capital murder of a person under 10 yrs old & aggravated assault with a weapon. [assault charges dismissed on 9/14/21]. Plead not guilty. $1M bond (murder) $750K bond (assault). Out on bond.
Trial began on 7/15/21 & ended on 7/21/21 with a mistrial. Re-Trial was set to begin on 9/20/21 continued to 11/30/21 was vacated.

I live In Minneapolis so obviously interested but not sure of national interest.I just don't want to keep looking. Tuesday, November 9th:
*Sentencing Hearing-Continued! (@ 9am MT) – MT – James Alexander Hurley (12) (found Feb. 3, 2020 deceased in living room, West Yellowstone) - for *James Danny Sasser, Jr. (47/now 49) (paternal grandfather) arrested (2/12/20), charged (2/13/20) & arraigned (3/6/20) with 1 count of felony deliberate homicide, 1 count of criminal child endangerment & 1 count of tampering with witnesses & informants. $500K bond.
Trial was set to begin on 3/29/21 was rescheduled to 9/20/21 has been vacated as Sasser plead guilty on 8/6/21.

8/6/21 Update: James Sasser Jr. plead guilty to 3 felony charges & admitted to felony deliberate homicide in the murder of James & also plead guilty to tampering with a witness & criminal child endangerment. During the plea change hearing, which lasted less than half an hour, Sasser Jr. admitted under oath that Hurley’s death was “the result of an aggravated assault by James III,” as phrased by his lawyer Colin M. Stephens. Prior to Sasser pleading guilty, Gallatin County District Court Judge John Brown asked him if he understood the gravity of the admitting guilt." Prosecutors Bjorn E. Boyer & Marty Lambert recommended in the plea agreement that Sasser be sentenced to 100 years in the Montana state prison for the deliberate homicide charge with none suspended, 10 years in the Montana prison for the criminal child endangerment charge with none suspended & 10 years in the Montana state prison with none suspended for tampering with witnesses. State agrees that the sentences run concurrently. Sasser Jr.’s sentencing for his involvement in Hurley’s death is scheduled for 9am on Tuesday, 11/9/21. Judge John Brown scheduled a full day for the sentencing.
11/9/21 Update: Sentencing hearing was rescheduled on 1/24/22.
*Patricia “Trish” Lynn Batts – last was pretrial hearing on 6/11/21. Jury selection begins on 5/31/22 with trial on 6/1/22. No update as of 12/14/21.
*James Danny Sasser III (14) - 10/29/20: Judge Brown handed down a sentence that requires the teen to be detained at a juvenile detention facility until he turns 18. After his release, he will be on probation until he turns 25. The 15-year-old will not be registered as a violent offender.
*Gage Anthony Roush (18) - 11/18/20: Per peal deal Roush was given a 5 year deferred sentence for assaulting James.
*Madison Sasser (18) - 1/29/21: Per plea agreement Madison was sentenced to youth probation with the Montana Dept. of Corrections until she turns 21. After that she’ll be on adult probation until she turns 25.
