Tuesday, Feb. 2nd:
*Trial was set to begin-CONTINUED! (@ 9am CT) - TX – Cedric “CJ” Jackson, Jr. (18 mos.) (missing July 9, 2019 last seen 11pm, reported missing at 6am July 10, 2019, found July 11,2019 at C.M. Hinton, Jr. Reg. Landfill & Wood Recycling Fac. in Rowlett) – *Sedrick Deshun Johnson (27/now 29) (BF of Aunt) arrested & charged (7/11/19) with 1st degree felony injury to a child causing serious bodily injury. $500K bond. Bonded out on 7/11/19. This case was dismissed on 11/5/19.
*Grand jury indicted & charged (9/29/19) with capital murder. $500K bond. Bond reduced to $250K (11/4/19).
Trial was set to begin on 2/1/21 was continued to 9/16/21 (thru 9/20/21).

2/1/21 Trial was continued to 9/16/21 thru 9/20/21.
*Chrystal Nicole Jackson (27) “Aunt” arrested (7/18/19) & charged (7/22/19) with child abandonment & endangerment. Held on $35K bond.
7/18/19: Bound over for trial. 11/7/19: felony charge was reduced to a misdemeanor and sentence is probation.

Tuesday, March 30th:
*Trial was set to begin-CONTINUED! (@ 9am ET) – OH – Baby Boy Doe (2 mos. or younger) (found May 11, 2017 decomposing in a 1988 Ford Mustang, South Toledo) & Giovanna Gabrielle Cisneros (was Baby Jane Doe) (infant) (found Feb. 10, 2020 decomposing in PT Cruiser which had been towed to police lot) – for *Jacob Andrew Cisneros (33/now 34) arrested & charged (2/3/20) & arraigned (2/4/20) with involuntary 1st degree manslaughter & endangering children. Those charges were dismissed (on 2/13/20) , indicted (2/13/20), Charged & arraigned (2/19/20) with 2 counts of 1st degree involuntary manslaughter, 2 counts of 3rd degree endangering children, 2 counts of 3rd degree tampering with evidence & 2 counts of 3rd degree obstruction of justice. Plead not guilty. $400K bond. Bond changed (2/19/20) to $1,225,000.
Trial was set to begin on 1/19/21 rescheduled to 3/30/21 & continued to 6/8/21

1/19/21 Update: Judge Linda Jennings; Asst. Prosecutor Frank Spryszak by video, Peter G. Boyer by video on behalf of defendant & defendant present by video Motion granted pursuant to the request of defendant to continue trial date. Trial date rescheduled for 3/30/21 @ 9am. Bond continued at S/or with electronic monitoring.
3/30/21 Update: Trial rescheduled per defense request. Hearing held: Judge Linda J. Jennings, Asst. Prosecutor Frank Spryszak by video, Peter G. Boyer by video on behalf of defendant & defendant present by video. Motion granted pursuant to the request of defendant to continue trial date. Trial has been vacated & rescheduled on 6/8/21 @ 9am. Bond continued with electronic monitoring.
*Jenna Nicole Cisneros (34) – 8/17/20: Plead no contest. Sentenced on 9/9/20: 10 years in prison as to Count 1; 30 months in prison as to Count 3; 30 months in prison as to Count 4; 10 years in prison as to Count 5; 30 months in prison as to Count 7; and 30 months in prison as to Count 8. The sentences in Counts 3 & 4 are ordered to be served concurrently to each other.

Wednesday, March 31st:
*Plea & Sentencing Hearing (@ 8:30am ET) - FL - Tayla Aleman (13 mos.) (April 1, 2016, Loxahatchee) – *Alejandro Aleman (38/now 42) “Dad” arrested (9/26/26) & charged (9/29/16) & arraigned (10/21/16) of 1st degree murder, aggravated child abuse & cruelty to animals. Plead not guilty. $60K bond, no bond on murder charge. DA will seek the DP.
Trial was set to begin 8/19/19-motion to continue granted 6/28/19.

9/30/20 Update: Status check hearing was rescheduled on 11/18/20. 10/27/20: Agreed Order to house witness in the Palm Beach County Jail. 11/10/20: Agreed on Order. 11/12/20: Status check hearing on 11/18/20 was cancelled & rescheduled to 1/13/21. 11/30/20: Motion permitting counsel to incur additional investigative costs permitting. 12/9/20: Order permitting counsel to incur investigative costs. 12/10/20: Motion for permission to use JAC approved court reporter for depos. Notice of due process contract. 12/15/20: Motion for appointment & funding of mitigation specialist. 12/17/20: Motion for appointment & funding of mitigation records investigator. Order on motion for appointment & funding of mitigation specialist & records investigator. 12/30/20: Motion for transcription of partial depos & motion for payment of court reporter fees. 1/4/21: Order on motion for transcription & payment of court reporter fees.
1/12/21: Status check hearing on 1/13/21 was cancelled. Next status check hearing on 4/14/21.
3/31/21 Update: Aleman plead guilty to the lesser charge of aggravated manslaughter of a child Wednesday morning, following his wife's plea in October. Aleman was sentenced to 20 years by Circuit Judge Cheryl Caracuzzo. He was given credit for the nearly five years he's spent in custody awaiting trial.
*Kristen D. Meyer-Aleman (43/now 46) – Plead guilty (plea deal) to felony aggravated murder & sentenced (10/26/20) to 23 years in prison. And with plea deal will testify against her husband.
