So many women missing and presumed dead and so many unidentified women's remains found. Man has no predator, but it seems females do.

Carbuff have you received any feedback on this potential JD match

Informally, I'm hearing that there aren't enough identifiers to rule Denise in or out as a match to this UID, but they're still looking into it. But that is not official.

I don't think Sandra Hopler has been mentioned previously Sandra Lee Hopler – The Charley Project. She vanished from La Plume, Pennsylvania (approximately 212 miles from Irondequoit) en route to New York City on 29 September 1973. At the time she was 18 years old, 5'4" tall, and weighed approximately 125 pounds.

Was Audrey nerenberg ever compared? I don’t see her on the rule out list. If she has never been submitted I will gladly do it.

Audrey is the missing person proposed in this thread's very first page.

As I recall, they weren't able to rule her in or out because at the time they didn't have matching identifiers. Don't know whether that's changed.

They both have dentals in, and they are both characteristic, if I'm not mistaken. Audrey had a gap between her front teeth and IJD had significant gold foil restorations.

Thanks. I'm probably remembering a different missing person.

Just something that just hit me:
When was IJD tested for DNA? Her sample came back as insufficient, but if the DNA was tried extracted in -say- the year 2000, shouldn't there be a "round 2", trying to extract a sample that is sufficient and perhaps workable for DNA Doe Project? I mean, DNA techology has really come a long way in just a few years.

You’d think there’d be round 2, as long as there was enough dna extracted to test-I wonder if there was? And I wonder if they’d bother unless there was a strong suspicion that they had a potential match. I think we all assume that this stuff gets done automatically, but I’m frequently surprised how often these old cases are neglected. It saddens me, especially since this woman was murdered-I mean, she didn’t disappear of her own free will

Audrey nerenberg and Cornelia Enright have never been compared. They both fit the timeline of the UIDs death.

Cornelia can’t be ruled in or out because she only has DNA on file and the UIDs DNA is insufficient for testing.

But don't you think it would've been mentioned somewhere if Audrey had gold foil restorations as a part of her identifiers, so they could've compared her dentals to IJD's significant dental work?

Yes you are right. We don’t know much about Cornelia’s dental work so it’s possible she could match

I know and it sucks!
There are so many girls that easily fits the timeline, location and various identifiers of our Jane Doe, and I truly believe she would've been identified in a jiffy if sufficient DNA could be extracted from her. It's really frustrating!
