Was Jennifer's Facebook deleted??

do you mean as an example there are all the "shares" all over the us, but no one is really going out and searching? thats what im seeing that has me scratching my head. especially the area where her things were found -- even if it does seem like those things were placed there i would still be looking...and i would think the apartment dwellers that live there would want it checked....i wouldnt want to happen upon a body....yikes no!

maybe LE has already interviewed and searched the interior of all apts. and surrounding area and it hasnt been made public...maybe because there is still someone/s that are not cooperating and they are waiting on more search warrants? (even tho i would think they had them for all, but who knows...) maybe G is trying not to scare the crap out of the kids?

it could be a multitude of things innocent, and some maybe not so innocent...i bet we see something happen within a week or so that should point in some direction...or she will turn up in one form or another...alive i hope. but after her missing her daughters birthday, G publicly giving up all hope (which i must say is a little harikiri considering it had only been like a week when he said it....i cant see falling on his sword unless he feels responsible and he knows all is lost, jmho and i dont mean he did anything to her...just that he would think in a "for sure" way that something had, that has to scare the kids...maybe the kids should go stay with gramma & gradnpa for a few days and let G get it together?) im just rambling now...need :coffeecup: lets just hope she comes home today!...

I still can't help but think Plank Road Manor may hold a key to some information...

Yes... The car may have just been dumped there... But why THERE?

It IS close to a main thoroughfare... But it is not DIRECTLY off the 23...

So, to me, there must be a reason for the car to be there...

Has anyone done a map yet? one to show all details of her travel....like home, mall, where phone found, where car found etc. If not I will work on one, but let me know. I want to check it out closer....

Nothing really new, huh?

Has anyone else saw on FB - paraphrasing here -

that a relative of Jennifer's posted a few days ago and mentioned internet sleuths, saying that her family was thankful of what (I'm assuming us!) are doing.

Also that she is not on FB much and that she is aware that we have showed frustration with the lack of exposure on her case but that again she is not on FB a lot and they are only privy to information provided to them.

So her family clearly cares! I wish we knew more! Who is involved in this?

I hope Jennifer is alive and well and will surface soon.

But if that can't/won't happen, I have to admit that I always go back to the idea of random attacks = bodies and evidence found (not always, just in general) and attacks when the victim knows the perp = secrets and bodies hidden.

Hey everyone! Forgive me for jumping in midthread and then leaving again, but just wanted to throw a little something out there at you guys.

I know a few of you follwed the Ivy Merck case, but there are many more who didn't. Quick summary: She was a recent "disappearing act" who completely vanished without a trace after her last known location, where her car had been left in a parking lot. No cell phone or computer activity, no calls to family to let them know she was okay. She later turned up living on the beach in Miami, completely 100% of her own volition. There's more to the story, but that's it in a nutshell.

The similarity I see between that case and this one is how the family acted. They were very hesistant to say anything on facebook, and didn't want word to get out (beyond family and friends) that she was even missing. It very much appeared that they didn't care. There were certain family members who went about their lives and made other postings that had nothing to do with Ivy... happy postings about daily outings and such. They just didn't seem concerned. Law enforcement was definitely involved in looking for Ivy, but there was little-to-nothing in the media about her. It was extremely frustrating to us here at websleuths, and we were constantly asking why there wasn't more being done to find her.

Well, it turned out that the family was scared to say too much because they feared Ivy might find it on facebook and be too embarrassed to come home. So they tried to keep the whole thing as mum as possible. As more time went on, though (she remained gone for a total of 3 weeks), they started to worry more that she wouldn't be coming back, and decided to get a little more vocal with it. Some WS members were really worried that she'd run into foul play somewhere. LE seemed more worried that she'd done harm to herself.

ANYWAYS, from skimming this thread and looking around on facebook for the past few days, I'm wondering if this is a similar situation. If the family feels like she probably took off on her own and hasn't said much for fear of spooking her into staying away?

And... Regarding bus routes :wolf2:Dreamer brought up...

Could JR have dumped her car away from home to buy herself some time while LE/family/friends searched for it? Then hopped a bus to parts unknown?

Could JR have gone to a wellness center?

Could she be pregnant?

Just throwing out some ideas to which I have no answers, of course... But they are questions to think about...

Initially I thought Jennifer had "run away". But..I cant imagine a mama leaving her 3 little ones right before Christmas and a birthday. This just feels wrong to me.
