NY - Karina Vetrano, 30, found murdered, Queens, 2 Aug 2016 #2

IS THE "BROOKLYN ALLEY RAPIST " IDENTICAL WITH THE KARINA VETRANO MURDER MYSTERY MAN IN THE SKETCH?


I believe this serial rapist, who last year, August 30th, 2015, raped 1 woman (and tried to sexually assault 2 other woman the same evening/night)
and again September 7th, 2015 tried to rape two other woman, all attacks in the Rockaway Parkway area in Canarsie which is
located ca 2.5 miles vest of the northern entrance of Spring Creek Park where Karina Vetrano was raped and murdered, might be the same man
as the man in the sketch searched in the Karina Vetrano murder.

IMO they look VERY similar:

I don't think those two are connected. I may be wrong but I think the Brooklyn Alley Rapist is wearing a hat and has his face covered in the middle of summer because he is trying to conceal his identity.
I think the man on top wearing only a hat, I think is a homeless man with mental issues, possibly paranoid schizophrenia, and that is the reason he is wearing the hat in the summer, as it does nothing to conceal his identity. JMO.
Although he may have seen something, I don't think he is the perp. Wearing that hat in the summer would only draw attention to himself, as it did.

ALL thise sketches are of violent sexual offenders and armed robberies from the Brooklyn and Howard Beach area who commited their crimes between 2013 and 2016.

Look at their eyebrows, eyes, and noses (only one nose is a little different) they are all the same, so thise 5 suspects may be the very same man IMHO.

I think it is extremely dangerous and unwise to assume the person in the sketch is KV's murderer. And FWIW, I still think it is someone who lives in the community, maybe as close as being able to see a part of the trail from an upstairs bedroom window. A misfit, an unemployed and unemployable adult still living with his parents, grandparents, sister or brother who provide his room and board, reluctantly. A loaner and voyeur who spends time in the weeds; maybe he's done this for years -hidden from view, to spy on the outside world in his backyard playground, to fantasize and who knows what else. This man would know the weeds because that's where he 'went' whenever he did leave the house. He would not associate or be part of the homeless contingent; too anti-social even for that. He knew the community, the neighborhood, the weeds, the park, the paths, the ins and outs, the places to hide. In living a life as described above, he would also have a predictable familiarity about who visited the park or trails, their frequency and relative timing of appearances. He may have been waiting and waiting for that one day - when a certain visitor he had been observing would come alone.

I also think the tips will eventually come from neighbors who just have a creepy feeling about this odd man that lives in their community, but they know nothing about as he is seen infrequently... but they know he is there.

I don't know how or if LE can interview every family in the neighborhood, but in my mind's eye, this perp is right there under their nose; in walking distance from and to the weeds.

All just my own thoughts and opinions.

I agree and that's kind of where I was going in 1 of my earlier posts about how neighbors may not be so willing to offer their home surveillance footage. And how I think there could be a neighbor or two who may possibly know more than they are willing to share. Could also be why they didn't get a hit off the DNA. I know where I live there are a few retired ladies who sit out a few hours in the morning, an hour in the afternoon and a few hours at night. These ladies can give you the run down of who belongs, who doesn't, who's car isn't from the block, which sex offender from the homeless shelter walked down our block, who the new bottle collectors are, etc..

I don't see anything either, but it does look like it was purposely blurred (not talking about the pixelated upper right corner, but where those here are seeing things ).... While I don't see anything because it's too blurry, something there does catch Karina's attention IMO by the way she turns her head to stare at and into that area; as opposed turning further around if she were looking to see if a car or something is approaching... But what it all means I don't know....

EXACTLY what I said when I 1st posted about it.. And I wholeheartedly believe ( no one else has too ) that is why the area is blurred, why we no longer have access to the Full video and only get to see the few seconds of video that CW shows

You are right I shouldn't have worded it like that, but unfortunately it is too late to change it now.
But I have to say that I'm pretty sure that behind the scene police do consider him a POI but don't want to say it out loud,
as you mention, to avoid him being scared away in case he is not the killer.

Wow! Yes those look like the same person even from the small but we see for sure! I didn't think he looked like the riverside park rapist sketch but these two above...100%!

The eyes are all scawling so look similar in that regard. But the similarities with the 3 lower pictures drastically stop there for me. The 3 men in the lower pictures have distinctly different face shapes. The first one in the hood has distinctly different lips and distinct spacing btw his teeth. The second one has a vastly different jaw line and chin and proportion to neck, the third one has a dairy cult fat face and wide cheeks rather then the chisel cheek bones in the sketch.

In addition to sharing scawling looks, I think the only other features they share could be considered generic black man looks.

It's JMO of course but I don't see the similarities.

I've put a marker (orange binoculars) on the map for the apparent siting of the "man in sketch". He was seen about 1.7 miles, as the crow flies, from the scene of the murder.

Yes I believe more has grown since google street view images were taken. Hurrican Sandy hit very hard in that area in 2012 so a lot of that area was under water, and I'm thinking the weeds have since grown back. If that makes any sense =)
