According to investigators, 46-year-old Keri Anne Heine was last seen leaving her home on Armstrong Road in Greece Sunday morning. She was operating a blue 2017 Toyota Corolla with a New York license plate number JKK1273.

Police say Heine has not communicated with her family, friends, or co-workers since her disappearance.

“I got a message over Facebook on Monday from one of her co-workers saying ‘You know, we haven’t heard from her — she was supposed to be at work on Sunday morning and Monday morning. We haven’t heard from her. Can you try to contact her?'” JK says.

“So I tried to call her phone. It went right to voicemail. I called my brother. He said that he hadn’t seen her and then I called my dad,” JK said. “He said he hadn’t heard from her or anything. And so my dad […] he lives in Buffalo, he immediately went to Rochester and filed a police report.”

Greece Police are now asking for the public’s help in trying to pinpoint the time Heine left her house. Police are asking residents and business owners in the area of Armstrong Road, Denise Road or Latta Road to check their video surveillance or security systems for signs of Keri’s car. She is believed to have departed in the 4:00 a.m. to 4:45 a.m. window.

JK’s message to friends and family living locally is to keep sharing posts on social media, keep digging, keep searching. Right now, there are no leads.

Posting here to keep an eye on this case. Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis had great insight into how her children were her life’s best work, and very little else mattered. It sounds like Keri Anne has awesome kids who are bright and active and engaged in finding their Mom. I hope this turns out well and warmly and I hope to help however I can.

I saw it reported in a few different articles that she doesn’t have her phone or purse, and I think that’s pretty interesting, especially considering she was leaving for work from home. I am an NP now but worked as a bedside RN for 10 years and while I will say it’s not abnormal for nurses not to bring their purses to work, it’s a bit strange (to me) to not bring her phone. Although… it’s likely she didn’t have time to use her personal phone throughout the shift so maybe it wasn’t abnormal for her not to have it- I’m of a slightly different generation than Keri, and I know phones mean different things to people of all ages, but even as a 20/30-something there were many shifts where I would only glance at my phone a couple times to be sure my kiddos’ preschool hadn’t tried to reach me. All of this to say- I’d be curious to know what she DID have with her (lunch bag, work badge, work bag?) and if it was normal, or at least not ABnormal, for her to leave the phone and purse behind.

I will say- searching Facebook for Keri’s name brings up a ton of posts about her missing, both from media and personal friends/family. I love that her hospital continues to post on their business page about her… she is clearly a loved, appreciated, and special person.

Missing Greece woman: Car found, unidentified body inside

The body was taken to the Medical Examiner’s office to confirm the identity.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A body was found inside the car belonging to Keri Heine, Greece Police reported Thursday.

The 46-year-old Greece woman has been missing since July 10. Police said Thursday the body found in her car would be sent to the medical examiner’s office to be identified.

The vehicle was found alongside State Route 104 in the Town of Ontario in Wayne County, Greece police say.

Prior to the discovery, a vigil at Rochester General Hospital had already been planned Thursday evening at 8:00 p.m. for Heine. She was a nurse at the hospital.

At this time, Greece Police say there is no indication of foul play.

“As you can imagine, it’s been a difficult day for our Rochester Regional Health family,” Cristina Domingues, Public Relations Advisor for RRH said.
