And then we have the "famous" monsignor living just across the street....who also has an apartment in Manhattan, and who's also linked to Merrick, NY ....who has a history of sexual abuse....is sharp/well versed in the law (and the Suffolk county Grand Jury stated he had a "cautious but relentless pursuit of victims") making me wonder if he's been doing "God's work" by ridding the world of prostitutes 1 at a time...

I saw that photo of him holding the fish and I got the creeps.

How do we really know he was her roommate and not someone holding her hostage as a sex slave???

This guy is all over the island. Google his name and www.noreast.com (or go to the fishing reports section of that website and search for his name and you'll see that he fishes all over the island including Captree (ocean parkway). This guy fits the profile and he would have no problem butchering because he's sliced up many shark and tuna carcasses in his lifetime. He's also fished on a boat in Montauk called the Viking. It's one of the boats that sells burlap bags.

Look at the dates of some of his fishing trips. Doesn't appear that he was too upset about her missing if he could go fishing shortly after.

Now what is REALLY odd in that video is at 1:21 they, totaly out of the blue, show a closeup of a white car stranded at the side of the road and its licence plate, for exactley 3 seconds.
I belive the licence plate is from Minnesota, but I have heard of no person connected to this case beeing from Minnesota. VERY odd sequence.

I agree 100% (see my previous post about ALC's Boyfriend).

I am pretty good at reading people (even from photos). I don't see him as a solo mastermind behind all of these murders but I do see him as a soldier, goon, or player in a larger organized group who is responsible (let's not forget the story told by that UGer who stated that a group of guys stormed into the room). I know his type very well. He is a showcaser who has to brag about his trophy catch. In the fishing world, catch & release is not in his vocabulary. No trophy fish ever lives to see another day once in his clutches.

Think about this my friends (and think very hard).

Woman like ALC are nothing more than meal tickets to a guy like this. When they lose their ability to generate a steady stream of income they instantly transform from an asset to a liability. If, for whatever reason, it is discovered that someone like ALC is making money on the side without giving a kick-back (or working for someone else and giving the kickback to them instead) then they transform from friend to foe.

back in the day...they used to call it "white slavery"....i have never seen this as a part of my generation...i just never encountered anything like what we see in these documentaries now...huge business with young girls practically plucked from their homes.


we never heard about mainstream prostitution the way we hear about it now....well, we did hear about it ...but only in very salacious movies and shows...cop dramas...detective mags..etc...

I think of Joran Vandersloot , and how young he is...involved in traffiking...and serial murder....( I say this because I beleive there are more victims).

I hate to say this without insulting someone, but you'd be surprised how well some of my fellow Long Islanders can fool people with their phony crying. Just remember the recent case of William Walsh;http://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/Husband_Confesses_to_Choking_Teacher_to_Death.html

Mr. Walsh fooled the world with his interviews and sob story while he was guilty of strangling his wife the entire time.

Watch this video of DS again but this time have the thought in your mind that he's completely faking it. Then go watch some of the video footage of William Walsh's interviews and you will see what I'm speaking about.

This guy is hiding something. Remember- he is a showcaser. It's impossible for his type to restrain himself from being interviewed on camera. He looks at it as an opportunity to prove his innocence by winning over the love of his viewers (he had no problem doing it to you, a seasoned sleuther!!). This is so classic.

Watch that video again but this time watch it with the attitude like you absolutely know that the person is guilty of something and is putting on a act for the media.

On the video interview with D.S. he does cry but he also gives two rather oddly placed winks. The first comes just as he is making a statement about her judgement to leave without taking someone with her. On the link above it is hard to go back and forth but the 2nd wink is less obvious and comes before the crying. In the end, he is wiping his tears on his short sleeve after saying (paraphrased) I do feel a lot of guilt I do...really I do...

Now, even if he is somehow responsible maybe because he was her middle man/driver/bodyguard, whatever: he may be telling 90% of the truth. He may wish she hadn't made the decision to fly solo...take an independent job...but only because he knew that someone else would find out. It seems he feels like it was his responsibility to keep this from happening and is admitting to not doing his "job."

Oh, after watching that video, the first two times, I realized that both times I saw that abandoned/smashed car on OP and each time wondered why they showed that yet said nothing about how that car relates to the story...it's just weird.

I watched the Dave Schaller video again, but I have to say that I still belive his distress/sorrow and crying to be genuin.

The link you posted to the video on William Walsh didn´t work, I tried to find another video on Walsh but could not find any that still works.

I guess we just have to agree to disagree on Dave Schaller. Hopefully time will tell if he was genuin or not.

I'm not sure any of this sleuthing of the roommate is fair. To me, he seems genuinely heartbroken in that interview. People make mistakes, they get caught up in lifestyles that are selfish, it doesn't mean they are killers. No one should be ruled out automatically, of course, I just don't think it's fair to take every little thing about him and tear it apart publicly . JMO.

As I said, we shouldn't rule him out, I just don't think it's okay to totally tear him (or anyone) apart in this public forum if they are not suspects. There are some serious leaps in logic going on right now and I think that we're losing focus.

There are no doubt many periphery people involved in the lives of the victims and directly involved in their lives as escorts, but does that mean we should dissect all of those people's lives on here for everyone to see?
