Looks like a good find to me. But, last seen "in the confines" of the 107th Precinct? Was he in custody? Did he escape? Or was he simply last seen being at the Police Station? If so, why was he there? There has to be more to this disappearance that hasn't been made public.

I think when they say Confines I believe it might be the area the 107the precinct patrols. Here is another example of mother flier with the same words

Question is who would wear a St Jude medal?

Question is who would wear a St Jude medal?

Our Lady of Guadalupe - The National Shrine of Saint Jude

Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, at 91st and Brandon Ave. on the far southeast side of Chicago, was the first Mexican parish
established in the city.

Fr. Tort had a strong devotion to St. Jude Thaddeus, the patron saint of hope and hopeless or difficult causes, who was relatively unknown to the general Catholic population at the time. Many of Fr. Tort’s parishioners were laborers in the nearby steel mills, which were drastically cutting back their work forces in the late 1920s. Night after night Fr. Tort asked St. Jude for his intercession to help the workers of the parish.

This led to the Claretians establishing the National Shrine of St. Jude as a key part of the church. While the National Shrine is more widely known, the church today still hosts many celebrations and Feasts that reflect the culture of the parish.

The congregation at Our Lady of Guadalupe, as well as the European Catholics from the city’s north side, showed such great response to the devotion to St. Jude that Fr. Tort began regular devotions to the patron of hope, including the first Solemn Novena which was held on February 17, 1929.

Today, Our Lady of Guadalupe Church is home to a thriving parish community, which ministers to the Hispanic Catholics from the neighborhood and non-Hispanic Catholics from a variety of Chicago neighborhoods.

Also in NY there are a couple of places associated with St. Jude.

"For more than eighty years, in the heart of Manhattan, New York, under the auspices of the Dominican Friars of Saint Catherine of Siena Church and Priory, the Dominican Shrine of Saint Jude has cared for tens of thousands of the faithful who have come to this oasis of hope."

Bitofhope you got me looking at this closet now. What Iam finding interesting is that he has the little flame over his head that St Jude always has. I don't believe st Benedict has the flame. But st Jude does not carry a book.

I go along with St. Jude. Good find!

I think this is a good possibility. Italian (decent), catholic most of the time, Fila is originally from Italy...(the shoes are just speculation) Mostly the eyes and eyebrows look quit the same.

I just found this guy from 1996 dumped in Queens rolled in a carpet.. Where he was dumped is Not really THAT far from where this guy was found.. It mentions probable body packer But I don't go by that because cops thought one of Joel Rifkins Victim was a body packer (she just had a lot of drugs in her system)until he confessed to killing her. Anyway I thought I would post.. since our guy is in a carpet and timeframe seems to be the same.

Hi Madamx, you are sure mixing things up. Do you think this body has a connection to the body we discussing in this thread?

Thanks for bumping. Before we are going to do the discussion upthread all over again. We concluded it's not Jesus on the medallion. After researching we came up with that this is most likely St. Jude.
