Jock was last seen in the 100 block of South Williams Street in Malone, New York at 7:30 a.m. on January 29, 1950. She has never been heard from again. Her husband reportd her missing on January 31. He stated Jock had left him on two previous occasions. Few details are available in her case.

Oddly, when looking for Ruth through newspapers, I found that she was compared to a Jane Doe found in Canton, New York, on April 4, 1950. I found no evidence of this woman being identified, and the articles stop in 2002. Does anyone remember this case and if she was identified?

Did she take a suitcase with her? I'd be more inclined to think she left him once and for all if she took her belongings. Otherwise, the husband/boyfriend is always the first to be suspected. Whoever that Jane Doe is, I hope they can identify her with DNA.
