NY - Video shows woman taunting lion after climbing into exhibit at Bronx Zoo, 28 Sept 2019

The video showed the woman wave at the lion. Then as the lion stood still, glaring at her, she danced seemingly carefree just feet away across a small moat.

The video was taken by another visitor to the zoo on Saturday.

Police are now trying to find her.

@JerseyGirl Thanks for your post and the vid. Funny, scary and/or both. In this face of this woman's behavior, glad the lion did not do anything that prompted zoo employees to harm him.

I wonder if vid is authentic, untouched. Look at size of woman compared to lion. Lion seems to have fully grown male mane, but in comparison to her, seems to be bobcat sized. Could be a weird angle, weird camera lens, or perspective.
Security of animal enclosure? Hard to tell how wide the 'moat' is. Wood fence = barely over adult-waist height. Looks like lion could almost stroll over moat and with little effort jump the fence.

Myah Autry, 30, who'd previously been identified by the NYPD as the woman who went into the enclosures, was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal trespass.
