“In the week (before) she was like, sad. She was so nervous and she was worried,” Cevallos told The News in Spanish. He didn’t know if that fear was connected to her death.

A hotel maid found Oleas-Arancibia’s body and detectives are trying to find the owner of a pair of bloody pants with a receipt in them found inside of the room

“My mom, she worked very hard,” Cevallos said. “She was working all day. She was always working for us to give us the best life in this country.”

“The best part of her is she always helped us and the family and she was very organized,” he added, breaking down in tears often as he talked about his mom. “She always had money to cover anything in the house. She didn’t owe no money to anybody.”

Cevallos said he didn’t know what his mother did for a living or what brought her to the hotel Saturday.

“All I knew is that everyday at 2 p.m. she went to Manhattan to work,” he said.

The city Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine how she died.

"We have video of the woman, arriving at the location, wearing a distinct pair of leggings. And later on, we have a male, leaving the hotel, wearing the same leggings. And we also have a pair of male pants in the hotel room," Kenny said.

He also revealed that investigators has been able to track the suspect's movements through the victim's credit card and MetroCard, which the suspect allegedly stole and has been using.

Caught in Arizona and guess what - he stabbed two women multiple times there.

Raad Almansoori, 26, made statements linking himself to a string of assaults on women when he was arrested for a pair of stabbings in Arizona this weekend, police said.

Police say in one of those incidents in Arizona, he tried to steal a woman's car outside a Starbucks and stabbed her multiple times.

In another incident, police in Surprise say they are recommending homicide charges in a separate stabbing at a McDonald's on Sunday morning. Authorities in Scottsdale said they arrested him in a stolen car hours later.

Getting real tired of seeing people out on bail commit heinous crimes.

Almansoori was actually out on bail after an arrest last year in Sumter County, Florida.

This week, the police announced that a 26-year-old man suspected of committing the crime had been arrested in Arizona, where he was accused of stabbing another woman a few days after the homicide in New York. A Manhattan prosecutor flew to Arizona to discuss bringing the man back to face charges.

In most homicide cases across the country, it would be a routine extradition. But on Wednesday, an Arizona prosecutor refused, saying she did not believe Alvin L. Bragg, Manhattan’s district attorney, could be trusted to keep him behind bars.

Rachel Mitchell, the Maricopa County attorney, said at a news conference on Wednesday that her team would not work with Mr. Bragg, whose office is seeking to charge the man, Raad Almansoori, in the killing of 38-year-old Denisse Oleas-Arancibia.

“Having observed the treatment of violent criminals in the New York area by the Manhattan D.A. there, Alvin Bragg,” Ms. Mitchell told reporters, “I think it’s safer to keep him here and keep him in custody, so that he cannot be out doing this to individuals either in our state, county, or anywhere in the United States.”

Well that seems like political games from Arizona. What about the family of the victim & their quest for justice? Seems like the victim & their family are left out of the thought process with Arizona revictimizing the family.

MOO.
