I’m so sadly in shock. I’m desperately trying to hold back my tears from flowing. I hear my granddaughter singing in her room. She’ll be coming downstairs in a moment for breakfast. She has testing today. I don’t want her to see me upset before she leaves for school. I just keep blinking my eyes and swallowing hard. I feel like I’m going to choke. I can hear my heart beating inside myself.

Oh Grandma, I wish I could come give you a hug.:(:(:(:(

I can generally read about cases and be fairly clinical. Not with this one. Harley really touched something in me and I'm just so sad and angry.

I'm very interested in the press conference and COD.

May he in rest in peace.

Looks like it's hung on the corner of a door my kids do it all the time. Especially if their jackets are wet.

Just bouncing of your post, not saying you said any of this.
Ok , if HD had such a rigorous bathing routine perhaps he doesn't like for his clothes to be dirty either. Hence hanging up coat. And for everyone saying HD couldn't reach the top of a closet door my 3year old grandson can reach more than half way up a closet door with his arms stretched overhead. I tested by asking if he wanted a sucker and placed it on top of the door. yes he got a sucker this morning, I am a grandma , it's allowed and in the name of science so hush it :)[/QUOTE]

Lord help my sanity if something comes out of his being ok for the first 40 hours. I'm going to lose it.

I think the “suitcase and cable” came from one of the Facebook broadcasts.

Both of which could be explained as being the equipment of crime scene techs.

Probably nothing.

With how close this is to Harley’s house, and assuming they did find signs of a homicide, I don’t think this is going to wind up being some big mystery.

A stranger didn’t do it; someone very close to him did.
The suitcase and cable could be camera equipment to look through hard places like walls, floors and ceilings. MOO

RE: Harley Dilly Press Conference

The Port Clinton Police Department will be holding a press conference today, January 14th, 2020 at 12:00 (Noon) regarding an update on the Harley Dilly investigation.

Chief Robert J. Hickman

Morning, everyone. I’ll try to be on to transcribe the press conference as usual for everyone who can’t listen.

I fear this will be the saddest transcription I’ve done yet. Just devastating.

We had a case here in the UK several years back where a missing girls body had been in the family loft the whole time... Dogs didn't alert the first time through the house then either.

Edit: I understand this isn't the Dilly home being investigated, but I find it unlikely they didn't check empty properties in the vacinity.
Wasn’t she in the next door neighbor’s loft? It connected to theirs?
