I'm sorry for what you're going through. I really am. I remember feeling really bad for the neighbors of George and Cindy Anthony when Caylee disappeared. It was absolute chaos.

Probably not a foolproof idea, but have you considered NO TRESPASSING signs? It might help. Might not. So sorry. :(

Didn't care about what?

That these civilians were in our yards and the family's yard messing with personal property. This is why I had an altercation with civilian groups and an officer yesterday. It was horrible. The Chief hung up on me. I couldn't get the point across that this family deserves some privacy. Out front they've been dealing with tons of civilians and LEO. They should be able to escape to their backyard for 5 minutes of peace without having to look at civilians digging through everything on their property. It's been searched by hundreds not to mention it's a potential crime scene. I just lost it. It's not that we don't want searchers. We've just been searched so much and these newer civilians are so rude and seems like this is "fun" for them. You know the term sh** show--this is the last 2 days on our block. We all are close on our block so we all feel like this is our kid. We all are just emotionally drained. His poor family. It's just so heartbreaking.

I forgot to mention. We had a woman pull up in front of our house today screaming at us because civilians aren't supposed to be searching now and screaming nonsense about the Grandma and Mom being pretty much guilty. We are really dealing with some unhinged people lately. It's getting scary.

I am a next door neighbor. I am not the neighbor that was mentioned. This is breaking my heart. Not one single sighting of him. We had terrible storms late this afternoon and search stopped at 4 pm. Those of us in the neighborhood are emotionally exhausted. It's been hot the last 2 days and now Saturday is only 43 degrees and low 34. We HAVE to find him today. A parents worst nightmare.
Thank you for being there for him ❤️

I'm so very sorry you've been caught in the middle of all of this. It must be a nightmare for you at this point. Unfortunately, I believe folks get caught up in the passion of the hunt and forget they are trampling around on private property. It's not okay to enter into property without permission from the owner. It's not okay to make hasty judgement calls or assumptions either, which I'm reading a lot. I think perhaps the volunteer searchers need to be gathered up and briefed on what they should or shouldn't be doing and perhaps organize under the guidance of LE/FBI authorities. The whole process of volunteer search can be a double edged knife; compassionate and commendable, but at the same time it can be obstructive if not done properly. Please know that your input is deeply appreciated here. Be safe, and hang in there!
@ohiobuckeyegirl i concur with the content of this post and I too am sorry that you are being inadvertently brought into this . Please stay safe, thinking of you as well as this poor baby boy and his family x

This has me wondering, when a child goes missing like this, why doesn't LE tape off the area and station some officers there 24-hours until no longer needed? As a standard policy? I think you said it's a small police force but it would be worth protecting the scene. If not officers, maybe a security company? It's not as if they have this situation all the time.

This actually sounds exactly like the lunatics on social media that start forming groups and dig into people's personal business, posting pics of innocent people, starting rumors, creating fake profiles & taking screen shots of their conversations with whoever they've convinced themselves is guilty or involved... and basically just being super creepy.

Except, this was in person, which is far creepier. What the heck is wrong with folks? o_O

Sorry you're having to deal with the idiocy.

LE hasn't indicated there is anything suspicious have they? You know the family and Quentin and don't have the feeling they are involved, I trust your opinion.

Can you tell us more about the river and how they are searching. Was Quentin attracted to the water?

I may have missed this when reading through the thread but other than the neighbour seeing him and telling him to go home, is it said when he was with his family member/s ( Grandma ) last in relation to the neighbour sighting? Time line ? I’ve read that he is normally always accompanied, so when was it that he was last seen prior to his disappearance? I’m trying to think back to the UK CATCHEM database which primarily relates to child homicide however, in doing so, it has predictive tools for missing children and the likelihood of how far they ‘generally’ get and the average distance and location from missing to found/recovered and they are pretty spot on. But more details are needed from LE IMOO in relation to the last hours whereabouts of Quentin in order to further determine possible outcomes.
Where are you little man?
