Does that mean that they possible hung her? :furious:

Ligature strangulation refers to strangling with some form of cord such as rope, wire, or shoe laces, either partially or fully circumferencing the neck...

I have a feeling she was strangled in that car, right after she was kidnapped. I think otherwise they would have a hard time constricting her to the car. I feel like she was a fighter.

But three against one, she did not have a chance...

Also, I'd forgotten, but Inman Sr.'s now-defunct webpage for Mercy Ranch does mention that he was ordained. The Pastor, on his blog, further mentions that Inman Sr. preached and baptized at the church where Summer was found.

If true, that means he had a place of authority in that church, and had influence over its members. It worries me, what exactly he was preaching to other couples, and what this meant for the women of the congregation.

Meanwhile, we find out Summer was strangled with something. I had a feeling that was it. When they were cleaning the car at the car washes, I just felt that it wasn't blood they were trying to get out, but fibers, or hair belonging to Summer.

The Pastor has given an Interview.

Church Pastor Talks To NBC4

King Kelly has been the pastor at Faith Tabernacle Church for 40 years and knew the Inman family.

Kelly said the Inmans attended services at the church and that Summer's in-laws were married there.

Kelly said the Inmans were involved in the church.

"Everybody that has talked to me from the church can't get over that he would come here to the church and did this," Kelly said.

In some ways, he said, he is not surprised because the elder Inman was familiar with the church's surroundings.

Kelly said church services will continue Wednesday night, but he said he feels he might not do much preaching.

"I'm more or less wanting to see what the people are thinking about, if people just want to testify or just talk," Kelly said.

Sandra Inman mouthed the words "I'm Sorry" to Summer's family in court today.

During her court appearance Wednesday, Sandra mouthed the words, 'I'm so sorry' to Summer's family.

"I don't believe it. I don't believe it. How can you sit there and do something like that to your in-laws, to your grandbabies' mother and turn around and say, 'I'm sorry?' There's no apology for that," said Misty Van Pelt, Summer's friend.

Video Interview with Pastor King Kelly here. He knew them 30 years.

The Inmans likely knew the spot well. Pastor Kelly said the accused kidnappers were active members of Faith Tabernacle for decades.

In fact, Summer's father-in-law helped build on during an expansion project at the church.

Kelly said, "Everybody in the church just loved him and his family."

The pastor says someone actually spotted tire tracks behind the church the day after Summer went missing last week. But, the pastor said the church does have problems with people just parking on its property.

Also, investigators say they haven't found any tire marks on the church grounds that match the Inmans' white Ford Crown Victoria. The car has since been impounded by police.Pastor, Church Shaken Body Found at Church.

I just started reading about this case yesterday. What a horrific ending. :( I'm sick to death of it being open season on women in this country. These men want to control every move their partner makes, even controlling if she breathes, literally.

The only consolation is that her spirit wasn't there to be placed in that disgusting septic tank. It remains as clean and beautiful as she was when she was alive. On the other hand, her murderers now have a spiritual stink on them that will never go away.

I just checked in to see if she was found and see she was found deceased. :maddening: What the bloody heck is wrong with these people and their logic. When somebody wants out of your life that badly, you simply accept the fact that they aren't your type and move on. What more is there to understand. These aren't children who can't accept rejection we are talking about, but grownups. I don't see what there was to gain from this other than an act of rage. I simply give up trying to figure out what goes through somebody's mind like this. <Mod Snip>

More details about the Inmans' involvement in the Church.

So, I guess this would be the Church that WIsr "built", according to his "testimony letter" on his Mercy Ranch website.

Outside the courtroom, William A. Inman denied any involvement in his daughter-in-law's death.

"I didn't do a thing to Summer," he said.

Pastor King Kelly said up until a few years ago, William A. Inman was a member of the church where Summer's body was found, 10TV's Tanisha Mallett.

"Myself, and my entire congregation, we are all upset about it you know we all thought so much of the Inman family that it is really a shock to us all," Kelly said. "One day he just told me, he 'felt that he was called to preach' and was leaving."

He said it was where he and his wife, Sandra, were married.

The family was active in the church and William A. Inman even had a hand in expanding the church.

"That front room of the church he built it himself and we added on another back section on there and he along with his step-father and another contractor who goes to our church they just built the whole back of it," Kelly said.

The family moved to Florida but recently moved back. Kelly said the Inmans only attended church from time to time.

I totally agree with you, but I got Mod-Snipped for calling them the "l" word the other day, so I'll keep the rest of my thoughts to myself.

On the 6:00 p.m. WBNS-TV news tonight, WBNS had live team coverage from Akron, Logan, and Nelsonville during the first seven minutes of their newscast.

WBNS had a live report outside the courthouse in Logan and showed a video of the Inmans in court today. Sandra Inman was seen mouthing "I'm sorry" to Summer's family in the courtroom.

WBNS had a video of sheriff deputies escorting William A. Inman into the courthouse. On the video, a WBNS reporter asked the elder Inman if he killed Summer and the elder Inman replied that he didn't do it and that the police had the wrong person.

WBNS had a live report from Inman's house in Akron and showed a video interview of a neighbor who said the Inmans recently moved into that house and were rarely seen.

WBNS also had a live report from the church where the body was found and showed a video interview of the pastor of that church.

Here's the latest update from the WBNS-TV website.

Coroner: Logan Mother Was Strangled

Wednesday, March 30, 2011 5:00 PM
WBNS-10TV

NELSONVILLE, Ohio — The Athens County coroner announced Wednesday that a 25-year-old woman who had been missing for a week was strangled to death.

All three were arraigned on kidnapping charges on Wednesday afternoon and ordered to be held on $1 million bond each. They have not been charged in Summer Inman's death.

Outside the courtroom, William A. Inman denied any involvement in his daughter-in-law's death."I didn't do a thing to Summer," he said.

Akron police raided the home on Faye Road last week, and according to a search warrant, took guns, ammunition, a security officer's badge and walkie-talkies.

Neighbors said the Inmans began living in the house recently and were rarely seen outdoors.

Also, investigators say they haven't found any tire marks on the church grounds that match the Inmans' white Ford Crown Victoria. The car has since been impounded by police.

But they don't have the original tires, right?

So that means they dumped her body BEFORE they changed the tires?

So where was she while they were at the car wash with the original tires?

Or, that they didn't use the Crown Vic to do it?

Or that those weren't their tire tracks?

The Akron County Sheriff is Pastor King Kelly's brother, because he had to call him after Sandra's confession, to obtain permission to search the property.

There is more on the Inman's connection to the Church, and something caused them to abruptly leave and move to Florida.

Summer and WIjr met at the Church.

Sandra Inman mouthed the words "I'm Sorry" to Summer's family in court today.

Wow, well that makes everything all right then.

I can’t blame the cops making a deal to get the info they need but it still makes me sick to my stomach to think that this woman will get some slap on the wrist sentence instead of what she deserves for participating in the abduction and murder of this beautiful young woman. What a senseless and tragic waste of a life, and those poor children, it's heartrending AND infuriating.

I think I’ll give myself a TO until tomorrow to calm down because if I hear right now that ‘SI’s a victim too’ I’ll end up getting banned.
