Terry Winters was 27
EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio – Police are asking for help in solving a 2012 murder case.
The victim, 27-year-old Terry Winters, was found shot in the back on East 125th Street at about 1 a.m. Jan. 4, 2012.
Detectives said despite working on the case daily, they have not been able to make any arrests.
“We are getting no cooperation,” said Det. Scott Gardner. “Generally, in a case, we get a little limited cooperation from somebody or a witness comes forward eventually. And it’s very unusual for us since this has been going on since 2012 and we have gotten zero tips.”
Winters' mother and sister said they believe someone knows who killed the father of four, and they need witnesses to step forward so they can have closure.
[...]
“No one deserves to die alone on a cold street, no one,” said Det. Reggie Holcomb.
