The mother and step-father bought the house on Apple Valley Road in March 2003.

In the county database, it shows that it was originally purchased on 6/2/97 by Patricia Hedglin. On 8/13/01, it was Quit Claimed to a trust in their names. On the property record, click "sale" tab to see info.

This matches up with the story of when they left Trumball County.

FWIW, the same thread (different page) contains a post from an alleged friend of Tina who stated Stephanie was living with the Herrmann family.

There are some interesting comments over there!

Would someone please post the FB link again? Sorry, I forgot to bookmark it yesterday. TIA!

I think someone might be jumping to conclusions. I counted 16 Hoffmans in the Knox County property database. You can search here:

http://www.knoxcountyauditor.org/Search.aspx

I'm fairly certain that LE would know of any and all family he has in the area.

(1st post, hope I did it right) :)

I can't find the article right now, but one of the recent local articles that interviewed MH's mother quoted her as saying he did not get along with his older siblings (plural). I've seen an older sister mentioned, but maybe some of these are other siblings?

The area this "rumor" speaks of would be near the rear entrance of Foundation Park and also the Kokosing River runs right along there as well.

If IIRC, the truck wasn't found until Thursday night...?

Yes.................the truck was found Thursday night and is what prompted the lockdown at the college.

It was Friday morning when this case went national with the news.

Except for the mention of Green Valley Road, which runs parallel to 229 and North of it, ending at Route 13.

What area are they talking about specifically on FB. I couldn't find the street they mentioned. Sorry, not familiar with the area at all.

Green Valley Road runs closely with 229 in that area, so I'm guessing that's why they're mentioning that area. Maybe to do with the Kokosing River? I don't know... that's the only reason I can see for saying 229 and 3. But again, this could be a rumor by someone who has no idea that Green Valley doesn't intersect with 3. :-x
