I'm heartbroken for Athena and her sister -- who was literally abandoned by these abusers. I know we all want justice for Athena, but her sister also needs justice.

My hope is that Athena’s sister is in a loving and stable foster home as far away as possible from any and all family.

It's haunting to look through the so called "care givers" social medias. It seems there was a big change in 2020, before that they seemed like a happy family and the 4 little ones looked cared for. It must have been around that time they decided to take in the 2 little girls. How could they have thought they could handle it? They already had 4 kids, the youngest a baby that's a ton to handle for anyone. From the beginning there were no pictures, no posts about the beautiful little girls they took in. Instead, AA morphed into this fake "influencer" persona and over time seemed to start to neglect her own kids aside from the youngest daughter as well. Up to present we see the youngest daughter in custom made Outfits, in cheer and in pageants eating pink sugar frosted Donuts while her siblings start to look malnourished and bruised in almost all of their pictures. It almost seems like a Cinderella situation; she keeps the beautiful little sisters hidden from view. Like so many others I have a feeling AA is to blame for most of the abuse, even if that is the case IA is just as guilty for letting it happen
I don't understand how nobody knew or suspected anything. They were active in church, had friends, she was close to her mother. I feel like there were people involved that suspected abuse and could have saved the children. It took Athena's death to save the others and they will hopefully have a chance to overcome the trauma they all inured but mostly Athena's sister. To think of her alone in that house, after what she saw and endured. They probably threatened her not to leave. And what was their ultimate plan? Did they think she would just vanish? where they planning to come back and get rid of her as well? This case is extremely haunting, it's one of the cases I just can't stop thinking about....

Then on New Year’s Eve, Alysia shared a quote that read "I love New Year’s...this feeling of starting over again."

On Jan. 1, in another posted picture, Alysia wrote “2022 was a hell of a year so ready to make 2023 mine."

On Jan. 3, she said, "One thing I realized is that everything always ends up working out. "

Then on Jan. 6, the day investigators believed Athena's sister had been left alone, Alysia posted pictures taken on a date with a new boyfriend that read "best night with the man of dreams."

She went on and said, "Can't wait to build the best life with you."

When I first saw the pictures (her in the red dress him in the cowboy hat) I thought they were from New Years Eve night because she shared them on New Years Eve night, but then when you read the text with them and you get the particulars it was actually his company's CHRISTMAS party and it was December 8th (or there abouts), which really changes things because I wondered how they pulled off going out on NYE with Athena already dead and needing to explain her missing to a babysitter. And when you see the photos taken by her mother of babysitting the kids and being in a hotel room, that is from the Christmas party weekend, before Athena was murdered. But I don't think they did anything on NYE now.

I wonder if any of the other children in the home were physically abused as well? I wonder if the non-verbal part is true and they couldn't handle it. If so, she needed more attention and patience, not less. I had a non-verbal until late 4 as well, it's so incredibly difficult but it's an innocent child, you love- so you do it whatever you can. Seems they didn't even do the bare minimum for these poor girls, at least. Poor babies. IMO, JMO

I haven't seen all the photos you mention but IMO the dates AA posted them to her social media stand out as cold-blooded regardless. Who the heck posts pics and comments like that after the vicious murder of an innocent child? Do you have a link to the photos of AA's mother in a hotel? TIA! This case is maddening!

During the search, officers discovered a semi-trailer at the Multiple Community Services Authority Transfer Station containing refuse from the Town of Cyril. The truck's contents were picked up around the time Brownfield was initially reported missing on January 10.

Fletcher police said the truck was taken off-site, placed under constant watch, and searched the next morning with the help of OSBI specialists and forensic K-9s. No clues were ultimately found.

I found them mentioned/pictured in a august 31 2022 post. Such cute sisters.

I really can’t stand looking at their own kids eather. Their bruises & how skinny they look. I really HOPE that’s not because of how they where treated.
