*Sounding Docket Hearing (@ 9am CT) – OK – Bonnie Beth Lilly (3 yrs) (Jan. 3, 2018, Lawton; had 17 lb. tumor/cancer) - *Bonnie Beth Mills-Lilly (42/now 47) arrested (1/4/18), charged (1/7/18) & arraigned (12/2/19) with 1st degree manslaughter & not providing medical care to child. Plead not guilty. $60K bond each. Bonded out on 1/10/19. Bond forfeiture (9/27/22) went on the lam. Bond reset to $1M (10/14/22). Comanche County
Trial was set to begin on 9/25/23 for jury selection for Bonnie only but was continued/vacated due to pending competency.
New trial date is now on 10/21/24.

9/25/23 Update: Trial has been vacated/continued due to pending competency.
6/25/24 Docket update: Original transcript & 2 copies of preliminary hearing. Mills-Lilly found competent to stand trial.
9/9/24 Docket update: Court order by Judge Jay Walker-Defendant order to appear in personal for sounding docket hearing on 9/23/24 @ 9am & jury trial set to begin on 10/21/24 @ 9am.
*Henry Clarence Lilly III (49/now 54) arrested (1/4/18), charged (1/7/18) & arraigned (12/2/19) with 1st degree manslaughter & not providing medical care to child. 2/13/24 Trial. Jury found henry guilty of all charges. Sentencing hearing on 4/12/24. Judge Jay Walker sentenced Lilly: 1st degree manslaughter to 5 years, $10K fine/court costs & child abuse charge to 13 years & $10K fine/court costs.

Okay - I might have this - but I read the above docket for October 21, 2024 - as Jury Trial starting - BUT!! This article says different. Now I notice behind that Jury Trial is Issue - so maybe JUST a hearing on an "issue" for jury trial??

For defendants facing manslaughter charges, there are only two and they’re both being heard a day apart from each other.​

• In Judge Shepherd’s courtroom on the 30th of October, James Jacobs Junior is charged for the strangulation death of Bobbie Willis back in March of 2021.
• In Judge Walker’s court room on the 31st, a jury will hear the case of Bonnie Beth Mills-Lilly, whose charged with manslaughter and child abuse, for allegedly failing to get her 3-year-old daughter proper medical attention. Her husband was found guilty in February of this year.

So @PayrollNerd - is the article correct in trial starting 10/31/24 instead of what I had 10/21/24?
