What gets me about this. Is they left it where it was found. It was not thrown into a river or whatever in hopes of it vanishing forever. But simple left behind a store. That tells me the person whom put it there, wanted it find eventually, but perhaps not soon after putting it there. To relive the murder once it was found. An extra adrenaline rush. I would say it was someone local, at least within the viewing area of the local news that would have broadcast the find when found.........Several said they seen a video of it. I guess it was not a live stream video, where you had to perhaps sign on a particular site to view it. I take it they mean they just came across the video by chance while viewing sites?.....This according to the report i read indicates a true snuff film.......If the witneses are truthful and didnot say something like, I dont remember where i seen it at, i was just browisng different sites and came upon the video and wached it......I dont believe that. I dont think you would just happen to find a video like that while browsing, perhaps on the dark web, But that seems more like a llive stream, where you had to sign in on some site to watch with probably a earlier notice about the event. And some of them sign on to watch, taped it and perhaps sent it to others after the fact.

If the reports about her leaving the casino is actuate, theres a chacne she was not taking far from there. At some point if she accepted a ride from somene she didnot know she realized she was not headed to where she wanted to go and panicked. HE, they whatever did not intend on driving far with a panicking woman on board. But somewhere around that casino. Probably no more than 15 20 minutes from there. And probaly wintin the same area where the body was found. From the casion to where the body was found, she was probaklly murdered within that area.

Forgive the misspelling. I don't have the energy to even use spell check.

hi Eearnestok. I clicked your link and it didn't go anywhere...

Is this the one where they tied her to a table and cut off one of her feet while she was still alive?

That's the one - horrific to say the least

Except that both guys that were initially convicted of the whole thing had charges dropped against them and the witness that described the terrible dismemberment scene said she actually wasn't there.

With that said Jimmy Massey who reportedly talked about dismembering Carina and was let go doesn't look like someone I would want to run into late at night

Can you link me to where Jimmy Massey talked about dismembering Carina? That's deeeefinitely fishy, although I completely understand dismissing the charges if there's not substantial evidence to convict him then possibly refiling if more evidence is found. I don't know why some people seem to find that idea hard to grasp though.

Does anyone know anything about this Matthew Kyle Savage mentioned in the Facebook warrants? He's the one who sent the messages to Carina's cousin, Kathryn Bloodworth, saying that he'd bury her next to Carina.

Massey was already in the county jail on drug charges and, according to court documents, he told another inmate "he was involved in the homicide and described the fact that they cut the girl's arms and legs off."

Officials said he hand wrote a letter to another inmate "describing what parts of the body were dismembered and perhaps more importantly, how the body was wrapped prior to disposal."

Regarding Matthew Kyle Savage - no, I don't know anything about him except what I read in the Facebook warrants. Didn't he say he thought he was texting with a man when he said that to KB?

I also noticed this Kenny Richards guy is FB friends with Rios and Massey.

$10,000 reward renewed by OSBI in Carina Saunders case

http://www.news9.com/story/36595420/10000-reward-renewed-by-osbi-in-carina-saunders-case

OKLAHOMA CITY - Six years ago, 19-year-old Carina Saunders' body was found in a duffle bag in a field near NW 23rd & Rockwell in Bethany.
At this point, her family says they are "frustrated" that there's no on to answer for her murder. Sara Saunders, Carina's sister, pointed out all of the developments in the area.

"There's now a Cash Saver and a strip mall here," she said. "We can do all of these things but our law enforcement can’t come up with answers, can’t find these killers."

The Bethany Police Department initially investigated the murder, working it more than a year, before turning the case over to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. In an effort to make up lost time, OSBI agents, in 2013, dove right in, questioning potential witnesses, serving search warrants, and later digging for evidence.

Umm how the hell has it been 8 years and no one has figured out exactly what happened to this girl? Especially with all the rumors because ALL rumors steam from some form of the truth. If the body hadn’t been dismembered I wouldn’t even believe the junkie witness who claimed to have seen them cut off her foot. Also for those of you who don’t think she was really ripped of the streets and murdered in order to send a message .. there are certainly plenty of sick people in the world just look at all the serial killers throughout history. As well as people whom hunt humans for sport so the story about her being kidnapped and dismembered isn’t too far fetched in my personal opinion. I need to ask what this young girl was doing wandering the fkin streets alone? I grew up in Queens NY and at 18 years old I STILL had to be home at 10pm and let me tell you if I wasn’t believe my parents would come find me and drag my *advertiser censored* home. Why weren’t her parents on her about this ? Yeah I get that she was technically an adult but she clearly needed guidance and she wasn’t gonna get it out in the streets chilling with the likes of who she had been. If her parents knew she was up to no good out there why why why was she not kept a closer eye on ?

Yeah but what does that mean ? Oklahoma is safer than N.Y.? In a sense that could be true but I’d rather be walking down the streets of Times Square at midnight alone than out in east Jesus no where Oklahoma, where’s the CCTV footage? Where’s all the random stores with video cameras ? I mean c’mon the homeland didn’t have ANY cameras ?
It's in Oklahoma.

Why it's unsolved. It's in....

Hah! Their PD should be restaffed in that case.
The two lead police detectives that were in charge of her case were fired and the OSBI had to take over. There's a lot of information about Carina's life before her murder. She was a drug-addicted runaway. Google her name, read the latest warrants (they're all here in this thread).

New court documents: Agents hoping cell phone records shed new light on horrific Oklahoma cold case murder

"According to a search warrant affidavit that was filed on Thursday, agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation are hoping old cell phone records might lead to a break in the case."
"The affidavit also details a Facebook conversation that Savage had with another man. The man accused Savage of killing Carina and said that he would 'bring Savage to justice.'

"You know what you did, dude," the man told Savage. Savage reportedly responded to that message with "LOL."

At one point, Savage allegedly said, "I know I'm so ashamed.""
