Not really. A local reporter interviewed one of her friends at our work on Cynthia's birthday, Aug. 4, but that's it. The last update I read was that LE is hoping her phone records will provide leads. The family raised enough money to hire a private investigator, but we haven't heard any updates from the PI either.

Remains found in February 2018, in Wayne, OK. Wayne, OK is about 33.4 miles from the home she went missing from in Moore, OK. The remains are estimated to have been there for about 6 months.

The remains found in McClain County were identified as Cynthia:

Human bones found February 1 in southern McClain County have been positively identified.

Sheriff Don Hewett learned Monday from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation the bones are the remains of Cynthia Garcia.

The cause and manner of Garcia’s death haven’t been announced, Hewett said.

The body wasn’t buried and the remains were discovered by an oil field worker in a wooded area about 100 yards east of Interstate 35.
Animals had scattered the bones and a woman’s clothing was found nearby.

Just nose diving in on her cold case and looking for updated info. Has there been any updates from the PI on Cynthia's case and are they still active? I saw that her brother set up a go fund me for help with the PI expense. There's not much info on her. I've not seen anything in regards to the Ex-husband or the boyfriends names. Any info could help us in the search for answers.

Hello! I left the FAA where Cynthia worked in August 2018, but I just went back to work in the same office a couple of weeks ago. I've asked a few people about her, but no one has updates. I'll keep asking around. RIP Cynthia!

Does anyone remember the last name of the daughter or fathers name, also the name of the boyfriend? Someone posted that she was trying to end thing with him before she went missing.
