[h=3]Details of Disappearance[/h] West was last seen by a friend at her house in the 3700 block of southwest 42nd in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at 7:00 p.m. on June 14, 1985.

Her mother reported her missing and West's photo appeared in the newspaper and was broadcast on television. Afterwards, someone claiming to be West called West's mother's workplace and left a message saying she was all right. Her mother never actually got to talk to the caller, however, and the caller's identity could not be confirmed.

Investigators believe West could have come to harm and that her disappearance may be drug-related. It remains unsolved.

[h=1]Police Unsure Woman Called[/h]Published: July 19, 1985

Eva Susan West, 28, reported missing by her mother June 14, may have tried to contact her mother, but police are unsure if a telephone call allegedly from the missing woman was genuine.

Shortly after West's picture appeared in The Oklahoman and on television, someone identifying herself as the missing woman called St. Anthony Hospital, where the mother works, and left a message, police spokesman Capt. M.T. Berry said.

"The message said the girl is all right, but the mother never got to talk to her, so we don't know if it was really her or not," Berry said.
Police suspected foul play in West's disappearance. She was last seen by a friend in the 3700 block of SW 42. She is a white woman with dark hair, 5-feet 5-inches tall, weighing 95 pounds and has a surgical scar at the base of her chin.

Eva Susan West, who sometimes went by Pete, has been missing from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma since June 14th, 1985. She was last seen by a friend at her house on southwest 42nd in OKC at 7 pm that day. Eva’s mother filed a missing persons report on her and the newspapers and news stations picked up the story. Soon after it went public someone called St. Anthony Hospital, where Eva’s mom worked at the time, saying she was Eva. She left a message for her mother, saying she was “alright”. Eva’s mother never spoke to the caller so the identity was never confirmed.

Eva owned a cream and brown 2-door GMC truck at the time. Her boyfriend drove it around until he was arrested. Eva’s mom then picked it up from the impound lot. Investigators believe Eva’s disappearance may be drug related. No suspects have been publicly named or arrested.

Eva was 28 at the time of her disappearance. She was 5’5-5’6 and 95 lbs. She has brown eyes and her hair was brown in 1985. Her right ear has no lobe.
