Justice said Faith was living with her boyfriend in Paul’s Valley and working at Sonic. He texted her to tell her Faith was missing.

“[He] texted me Monday night saying that he can’t find her, she’s missing, freaking out,” Justice said.

After he texted her, Justice said she got some strange texts from her sister’s phone, her sister allegedly saying she was with a person who wouldn’t take her home, and that she couldn’t get a ride.

Authorities searching around the clock for missing Pauls Valley teen

To Note from this link:
*Faith’s boyfriend sent her sister in AR a text stating she was missing.
*Soon after, the sister began getting texts from Faith’s phone but doesn’t believe it was her sending them.
*Then, phone calls began but the caller would hang up.

IMO, this seems a lil odd & quite worrisome!
Hopefully LE can use all that activity from Faith’s phone to find a lead.

Either someone suspicious or one of these chowder heads that encompass young adulthood anymore. Including my nephews.

I pray she is safe somewhere. Gorgeous girl. Once upon a time your significant other came to pick you up and escort you home. Drive, walk, bike no matter.

An aside which is most likely nothing, but a guy who comments a fair bit has no photo or bio. I go to him and he has seriously just hundreds of beautiful women as friends. Weird, but perhaps innocent.

Lots of questions on missing teen

WHAT?? AM I READING THIS CORRECTLY? THIS DOES NOT SOUND GOOD AT ALL.

“Our agents are following every lead in the hopes of finding her.
This is a complicated investigation. There's a lot of information out there. Our job is to find out which parts are true and which parts aren't true.”

Undersheriff Matt Haley told the PV Democrat it began with the report of a gunshot injury.

“This started for us when her boyfriend came to us reporting Faith Lindsey had been shot in Sasakwa,”
Haley said, adding the town is in far southeastern Seminole County. It's also only a few miles northeast of Ada.

That's the report he brought to us, but that report was in fact false.”

According to Haley, the male subject was arrested and formal charges filed against him for coming forward with the false report of a crime.

She adds Lindsey is officially considered missing and not a case of a runaway.

What a horribly confusing article.

What started then? Is this before or after the missing person report?

What I gather is this:

Faith has been living with her boyfriend in Paul's Valley but is originally from Ada where she previously attended Ada High School and where her grandparents still live and are actively campaigning for her safe return. The last time anyone (credible) saw/heard from Faith is Oct.29. Sometime between then and Nov 1, boyfriend called Seminole County Sheriff's Office to report she has been shot in Sasakwa, which is about 14miles north of Ada. In investigating, they determined his report was false and due to jurisdiction (Paul's Valley is in Garvin County), engaged OSBI on Nov.1.
On Nov 4 the boyfriend texted Faith's sister J saying he couldn't find Faith. Young people texting as a regular form of contact so I don't find that part odd. J began receiving the odd texts and calls from Faith's phone after this. She reported Faith missing on Nov 4 to Pauls Valley PD. OSBI is now heading the investigation.
If you search for Faith Lindsay on FB and view posts, you should see one from her friend D sharing her missing poster/photo. Faith's grandmother comments and following that you can find her shares and updates (in addition to J's) On grandma's share from today Nov 10 is a comment from what appears to be a coworker friend of Faith regarding the boyfriend - unsurprising and concerning. In the same FB search results is a plea from J sharing a photo of her in an orange dress with Faith. The comments on that provide more info on boyfriend. His initials are TW - Faith mentions him on her timeline showing him riding a rodeo horse. I am not able to find any arrest records for him.
The post being shared around FB additionally states she does not have her belongings, though based on the mysterious texting it seems logical the phone is also missing. However, we don't know how LE came to suspect the boyfriend and prove his report false.

I'm not sure what to think yet. J said Faith was misspelling a lot in the texts from her phone which is why she was suspicious. To me, that could be a disoriented, drugged or otherwise impaired Faith trying to get help. J is older and lives in Arkansas if you're wondering why she didn't give Faith the ride she supposedly needed that night. Then you have the repeat calls and hangups. If you are in danger, that may be the only thing you can do. I wonder if anyone else got contacted? The phone is obviously a crucial piece of the puzzle. Based on this photo it appears to be an Phone 6s or newer.Faith Lindsey on Instagram: “Winter look, looks better on me anyways ❄️
35 is a common trafficking route between Oklahoma City and Dallas, so all of that is concerning.

However, a potential DV situation and the boyfriend already caught in a colossal lie is enough to apply occam's razor IMO.

Just now came across this strange and convoluted missing person case. imo.
Is the bf also helping to look for Faith?

"After receiving his texts, Justice told News 4 that she got then got strange text messages from her sister’s phone. She says the messages claimed that she was with a person who wouldn’t take her home and that she couldn’t get a ride.

“She was misspelling a lot of things that night,” Justice said. “And Faith, she has very good punctuation and spelling, and that just wasn’t her.”

In addition to the texts, Justice says she was receiving phone calls from Faith’s phone.

“She kept trying to call me a lot, but hang up as soon as I answered,” Justice said."

Authorities are searching for a missing Oklahoma teen after she sent a string of concerning messages to her sister, according to a report.

Faith Lindsey, 17, was reported missing Nov. 4 after she disappeared from the Pauls Valley home, where she lives with her boyfriend, news station KFOR reported.

Her sister, Justice Lindsey, said Faith’s boyfriend first contacted her saying that she had vanished.

“[He] texted me Monday night saying that he can’t find her, that she’s missing, [and] freaking out,” she told the outlet.

The same night, Justice received a series of strange texts from her sister’s phone claiming that she needed a ride.

“She was misspelling a lot of things that night,” Justice said. “And Faith, she has very good punctuation and spelling, and that just wasn’t her.”

She said that Faith also repeatedly called her, only for the line to be dead when she picked up the phone.

“I have a gut feeling something did happen to her,” the sister said. “I really hope that she’s safe.”

Dozens of volunteers joined the search over the weekend near her home in Pauls Valley, which is about an hour south of Oklahoma City, news station KII reported.

“Every pair of eyes and every pair of boots are essential,” Brian Smith of Oklahoma City Metro Search and Rescue told the outlet. “It’s really important simply because law enforcement doesn’t have the manpower or resources to commit 30, 40 or 50 people out here to look at every inch of ground with so much other stuff on their plate.”

The Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation said the teen could be in Seminole, Garvin or Pontotoc County.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is encouraged to contact authorities at 800-522-8017.

Occam's Razor is rarely wrong.

That said, Faith's disappearance needs to gain some traction here. The circumstances surrounding her disappearance certainly warrant it.

Mystery deepens around Pauls Valley teen’s disappearance

A paper trail of arrest reports linked to Lindsey’s boyfriend only adds to the mystery.

According to court documents filed on November 5, a woman contacted the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office on October 29 stating 25-year-old TW told her his girlfriend Faith Lindsey had been shot in Sasakwa.

When deputies called a phone number listed as Lindsey’s to follow up on the information, TW answered and told them he had dropped Lindsey off at work at Sonic in Pauls Valley on October 27 and had not seen her since.

Her coworkers later told deputies she did not show up for work that day.

Meanwhile, Lindsey’s manager told deputies she has intervened in issues between TW and Lindsey in the past, in which TW showed up at the Sonic and “was bothering” Lindsey and other carhops.

Deputies said TW changed his story several times.

It wasn’t the first time TW had been arrested in a case relating to Lindsey.
