Crosby87 his ex did testify against him he is a big manipulator also 2 of his ex's also testified I was one of them in my gut I do think he did it if you knew him as a person he has no soul he is crazy and I'm scared as hell if him
I too wonder if Jaymie was robbed the night she was murdered.
Based on what’s been reported in the media so far, it seems to me that the Prosecution is building their case mainly on Justin Adam’s testimony who claims that “on 12/10/11 his wife was murdered by the person she was engaging in prostitution with.” According to prosecutors, the victim was engaging in prostitution the night of December 9, 2011 and into the following day, so where did these acts occur? Justin said his wife rented a hotel room when she engaged in prostitution but after she received a phone call from a client, she left the house and he last spoke to her or was in contact with her when she was waiting in her van which was parked in the lot at McDonald's for her next client who was late.
Did members of the Jury read the Autopsy Report and know “No definite sperm is seen in the oral, vaginal or rectal swabs.” (page 11). What does this mean? Perhaps the reason no definite sperm was found during the autopsy is because all of Jaymie’s clients wore condoms? If that’s the case, how did Cyr’s DNA/sperm get in her vagina after the autopsy was done? Cyr’s lawyer, Jacob Benedict, told the jury Cyr lied to police by saying they never met in person and that was disproven by the DNA evidence. So Benedict isn’t disputing the Police's claim that Cyr's DNA was found in her body. In fact, he is actually supporting the prosecutor’s theory that Cyr refused to wear a condom when Jaymie wanted him to and that’s why he flew into a rage and attacked her. Benedict however contends that after Cyr and the victim had consensual sex somewhere, they went their separate ways and therefore Cyr is not the killer.
I don’t remember exactly when LE obtained Cyr’s DNA, but it was after the autopsy was done. Based on what I’ve read, I believe the Prosecutors are saying Cyr’s DNA is actually sperm that was inside her vagina. Imo, the medical examiner and the people who were present during the autopsy will also need to testify. Several media reports say “Police said DNA taken from the victim matched Cyr's”, not the Medical Examiner, so will the ME take the stand and clear this matter up for the Jury? Does “no definite sperm” actually mean no sperm was detected in her body?
Present during the autopsy was Jason Snider; Law enforcement, and an Entomologist and Anthropologist. Is Jason Snider the policeman who claims the DNA taken from the victim matched Cyr’s?
Because insect and animal activity invaded Jaymie’s body which was wrapped in a button-upped Old Navy cream-colored coat,
the Entomologist and Anthropologist should be able to estimate how long it had been lying in the woods. In his report, the ME did not say whether the Old Navy Brand coat was a man’s or woman’s or its size. As far as I know, the weapon used to stab Jaymie and the clothes she was wearing haven’t been found. Who does the coat belong to? Why was she stabbed wearing a coat that didn’t belong to her? To absorb the blood?
A fluid line was also detected on Jaymie’s back during the Autopsy. The report said, “(like it was lying in fluid for sometime). Did they identify the fluid? Does this finding mean the killer moved her body into the woods and she was killed elsewhere? Obviously the murder didn’t occur in a hotel room although her husband said in one of the ads posted on Craigs List that they rented a hotel room for this.
Because Jaymie’s jaw was broken in three places and she was stabbed 29 times, would you expect to see cuts, bruises, or swelling on her attackers body? Would their knuckles be bruised? The woman who lived with Joseph Cyr when Jaymie was murdered will likely testify. I believe she said Cyr was wearing the clothes he left in when he returned home.
If Jaymie rented a hotel room and her clients went there to have sex with her like her husband said in one of their ads, then why was she waiting in the parking lot at McDonald’s Restaurant for her next client? Where did she and Cyr have sex? The Adams’s phone records and emails hold very important clues.
Crosby87 yes I did testify I did back in December when the trial was supposed to start they video recorded me I had a child by him this is so hard for me to talk about I was i one of the 2 women who testified last week he was verbally abusive to me I live in another state so no I haven't been there he scares me
Immediately after Jaymie disappeared, we heard she sent a text message to her husband telling him her client was late.
Today the Oklahoma County Assistant District Attorney Jimmy Harmon told the Jury Jaymie Adams also texted her husband to let him know her customer had arrived. Harmon showed a text from Jaymie saying, "He's here," and her husband Justin, texted back, "OK babe.
Did Cyr's Defense Attorney, Jacob Benedict, discuss these text messages with Justin Adams when he took the stand to ensure their authenticity? The text messages were not mentioned in the one report that discussed Justins testimony.
Prosecutors also say they think Cyr also tried to cover his tracks by going through Jaymies online and texting, "He never showed," and texting others from Jaymie's phone.
Jaymie left her cell phone in her van and locked it when she left so she probably took the keys to the van with her when she left the parking lot. Justin Adams tried to break into the van when he found it so we know it was locked. There were no witnesses who actually saw Jaymie and Joseph Cyr in the parking lot at the McDonalds/Dennys Restaurant before or after the crime occurred.
Where were the keys to Jaymies van found? If Cyr tampered with her phone, he would have had to take her keys after he assaulted her in the woods, drive back to the lot where the van was parked, open it and tamper with her phone!! Harmon explained the cell phones records which showed a gap of 37-minutes to the Jury. Harmon said it was during that 37 minutes that prosecutors believe Cyr killed Adams. He said they don't know the motive, they only know she was stabbed 29 times and her jaw was broken.
And what about the knife that was used to stab Jaymie? If Cyr had a knife with him, it would have been in his truck along with the Old Navy Brand coat when he picked up Jaymie. That would mean he intended to harm her and this crime was premeditated. If he did murder Jaymie, he would first have to dispose of the knife and her clothing, then drive back to the lot where her van was parked, open the door with her keys and tamper with her phone!!
Was the field ever searched for Jaymies clothing and the murder weapon? If the knife and Jaymies clothing had blood on it, would he risk placing them inside his truck? The Crown alleges Cyr cleaned his truck and put four new tires on his truck the very next day but did they produce evidence in order to prove it?
The Crown also alleges that Cyr and his girlfriend fought for three hours after he returned home but I dont recall her saying that. If they were up all night fighting, its hard for me to believe they went and cordially ate breakfast together at a restaurant near the McDonald's where Adams van was found abandoned, especially since they had a very young child at that time. Cyr had lived with his partner for quite some time and was his common-law partner, not his girlfriend.
Harmon also pointed out that Cyr's DNA was found inside Jaymie Adams, which means based on what Ive read in the media reports, that Cyrs semen was found in her vagina, a claim that was not verified by the medical examiner during the trial but should have been.
Cyr's Defense Attorney, Jacob Benedict, during his closing arguments, claims there would have been offensive wounds on Jaymie Adams' body and a wound on Cyr's body. He said there should have been blood on his body and clothes when he went to his girlfriend's house where they fought for three hours.
Benedict told the jury Cyr's girlfriend never noticed or talked about any blood being found on his clothes. Cyr claims he wore the same clothes he left in that day.
Imo, Benedict should have had called an expert to the stand to support the claims he made in his closing arguments.
