Missing Person: Eaton, John Jr. (W/M, DOB: 4/19/1971)



The Oklahoma City Police Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public’s help locating a missing man. John Eaton Jr. was last seen on 3/15/2012 in the area of NW 20th and Council Rd.



Mr. Eaton is a white male with hazel eyes. He is 5’ 6” tall and weighs 160 pounds (see attached photo). Foul play is not suspected in his disappearance. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts should call 9-1-1 immediately.

John Charles Eaton, 40, is described as white, 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a shirt and a black coat.

Eaton's sister told police it was not unusual for Eaton to go several days without contacting her, but the family now is concerned for his welfare.

[He] worked as a chef in various restaurants before he disappeared, his mother, Linda Barnard, said.

“I have a fear that someone has done something to him,” Barnard said.

Family Opens Up About Search For Missing OKC Man

John Eaton has been missing for three and a half years and his family has never had a single lead on where he might be. They said the holidays are the worst time of year.

&#8220;Now it's three and a half years later and nothing,&#8221; Charlie Eaton said.

The family said John went to OU Medical Center for an alcoholic episode in March of 2012. When he was released, he walked out and he was never seen again.

&#8220;If there's no answers, there's just a hole there,&#8221; Charlie explained.

Neither Oklahoma City Police nor the family suspects foul play. Charlie has scoured the city, looking in crisis centers and day centers, hoping his brother is part of the homeless community.

He has hazel eyes. He has black straight hair and is bald on top. Idk if he's caring for himself. 5'8" stocky build. Abdominal scars. A large one right down the center from ribs to just above his belly button. One on his left shoulder he has a homemade tattoo of a lightning bolt above a cloud and below it is a rose (no color) with a blank banner where you'd put a name. He's missing from Oklahoma City, ok. Police phone number 405-297-1000. He goes by John or possibly Charlie. He is a very sick alcoholic. I also have no idea of his state of mind or possible looks after almost 6 years on the streets... if that's where he is.... If anyone has seen this him, please contact ME on here or the OKC police department, where John is reported missing. Please don't approach him. He may dig in somewhere else. He may not know who he is. I don't know what shape he's in after almost 6 years. We just need answers. Thank you">>
