The trailer captivity place
I have followed this case since it happened. Not in depth though. There are alot of weird things, in my opinion, going on here. Welch, Oklahoma is not a great place in way of the LE. Many rumors have circled this area about this case which I won't get into, but what really bothers me is I was excited when they were saying that they would be searching in Kansas. But then, NOTHING. Not a report of if they did search. Not a news report saying that nothing/anything was found. This really makes me sad.
I have followed this case closely ever since it happened. I live in that area, and knew Dave pretty well. Didn't know much about Phil but heard of Busick and he was friends with several here. Word got out that these 3 were responsible within just a few days of the fire, soon enough that if someone would have paid attention and followed up, the girls might have still be alive. (This was relayed by someone who knew what was going on for the most part) But the then sheriff in that county just sat the evidence away and even refused to accept more evidence later on that private investigators had. It wasn't until this new sheriff came in that he found this box of evidence stored away and that's when the ball got to rolling. It was a bad situation ll the way around, and much started when Freeman's son Shane was shot (murdered) by deputies on a dirt road the previous year. Freeman told everyone that if anything happened to him to look at the sheriff. The current story is the deaths were a bad drug deal but others who still aren't saying much tend to think it's much more than that. Pennington was pretty much always heavy into drugs and had served time before for shooting a family member, but when he got out he went back on drugs. Was told he narcked a lot and was worth more to law enforcement on the streets than in the pen. He'd been busted a number of times but turned loose. Phil was a Viet Nam vet and was the psycho of the bunch. After all of this went down, Phil and Dave suddenly found God, became ministers and hid behind their religion until they died. Busick, I am told did the same thing. Hopefully Busick will tell where they put the girls after they killed them. Word is they were thrown in a mine shaft there in Picher, another witness said they were put in one and covered in concrete. No telling if they will ever find them. The town is deserted, a toxic place full of lead, but still able to travel through the town and the highway is still usable, so hopefully they can find the remains and bring the girls home and give the families some peace after nearly 20 years. Reports say at least 12 people knew what happened yet everyone was afraid to step forward. But then again in this podunk area, secrets are rarely kept with some of the previous law enforcement and these people were all threatened if they told. Another thing to keep in mind was the fact most all of them were heavy meth heads/tweakers and for the most part people weren't going to pay much attention..which they should have in this case. I personally was shocked when I heard who did this.
The incomptence of both the local LE and OSBI is beyond infuriating. I'd look into Jimmy Sooter, why deny information from the private investigator? Makes me so mad.
Lorene Bible is amazing. There's no words, after watching the press conference and keeping up with this case.
I've been through Picher a few times. I always got a weird feeling driving through there, but the place looks like a 3rd world country.

Not sure I can say this, but I will anyway. I was told earlier that the sheriff at the time Shane was killed and the murders happened, was also a tweaker/meth head..which was why he didn't do much investigating, and allowed the box of evidence get put away and let the case drop. The 2 private investigators were told by the LE that they didn't want their investigation reports, and in fact, one was threatened he would lose his PI license if he pursued the case any further.Thank you. I hope to hear more from locals. I have a hard time comprehending the law enfoecement’s incompetence... everyone that knew and said nothing are accomplices to this crime. To add insult to injury, they allowed rumors that the girls committed the murders and ran to fester causing further and unnecessary pain for the family and friends of these girls. That’s despicable!
I’ve always thought the Freeman’s simply couldn’t accept the truth regarding Shane. Now, I feel that it was incredibly possible (and most likely probable) Shane was murdered.
There's quite a bit of information from the PDF ..if one wants to read between the lines

RSBM.
This is what I got from that.
(It turned out more complicated than I expected and I had to think up more categories of relationships to try and make it work. Possibly the odd mistake/omission. Also I'd be certain that RE was acquainted with Welch, but doesn't state that in the affidavit etc.)
