This looks like a pretty desolate area and with it being icy and very late at night, I can't image too much vehicle traffic that way (someone local correct me if I'm wrong). So if someone nefarious did stop and pick her up, there would likely be no witnesses. Seeing these photos answers my question of, I wonder if anyone saw her go off the road. Likely no one did, it seems.

Officials search for Seminole woman missing for three weeks

To Note:
•Investigators have subpoenaed Davis’s phone as well her husband’s because he tried to call her that night.

•The sheriff told KOCO 5 they have tried talking to her husband but he now has an attorney.

•There's more to the story than we're being told.
Oh my.
I always think getting an attorney is a GREAT idea anytime you could possibly be considered a suspect in anything, so that doesn’t automatically raise a red flag. But something about this case has been raising my eyebrow…

Interesting. So Nancy's husband has hired a layer to represent him? I agree, not always a "red flag" but it's certainly something to keep in mind in this case.

Also worth noting that we don't know much about their relationship. Were Nancy and her husband having problems/issues shortly before she went missing? AFAIK this hasn't been discussed by MSM or LE, but if so I may have missed it.

I just wanted to ask about the dogs.
One stayed near the car, while 3 of them went off, but returned separately.

But surely, the dogs would have stuck together as a pack, as that's generally what dogs do, no?

Especially as these dogs would know each other and live together and are technically 'a pack' by themselves.

I just thought it was an odd detail.

Here's the latest from the Sheriff's office.

*** UPDATE ***
On March 19, 2022 at 8 a.m. The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the Christian Aid Ministries Search and Rescue Group will be back around Old Highway 99 and Park heights Rd. Canvasing the area and checking a few distinct locations in efforts to locate Nancy Davis.

Not to be too graphic, but the Crows and Buzzards don't seem to think she's out there either.

No red flags on their FB, but then again that's why I often refer to it as Fakebook.

If you watch the video on your link. The reporter says she was found in the Wahoo Creek area in Seminole County. At least I think he said Wahoo.

Oh I’m so sad to hear this. Of course after three weeks we all know the odds aren’t great but I was praying for a miracle. It doesn’t sound like LE suspects foul play, rightly or wrongly. Did she just get lost and succumb to her health problems and the elements? Did she ever make it back to her car? Where was Nancy located in relation to her vehicle, I wonder. May she Rest In Peace.

Nancy's car was found near the red dot on this Google Earth screenshot. I have circled the creek. As mentioned by an OP, her home is to the East about a half mile cross country, a little further by road. It would be helpful to know where her body was found today. Previous searches would surely have covered the area of this creek near where she left her vehicle?

I looked at her husband's Facebook page shortly after she was reported missing. His cover photo was the one Nancy posted July 20, 2021, on one of her pages captioned "Me and the love of my life." At some point he took it down from his cover. MOO

A few new details in this video & article:

"Investigator Palmer added, "We walked about 400 feet east down the creek and did find a body that was half in the creek, half out of the creek." Investigators now have to find out how she ended up in a remote area.

"It's about a quarter mile from the road to the creek. Her health problems, and her walking ability, how was she able to walk that far in the ice," said Investigator Palmer.

Officials said Nancy's remains are too decomposed to tell the cause of death."

It says they found a purse and a pocketbook. Very odd she was missed in earlier searches unless they were relying mostly on drones. That creek appears to have quite a bit of tree cover.

Agreed. This article you linked does seems to provide additional insight.

To Note:
•Nancy called her husband around 10:40 p.m. to say she was stuck; LE wasn’t notified until 4:30 a.m.
•Investigators said they don't know why it took so long to call them, or why no one else was contacted after the calls to Nancy's husband with the dyer conditions that night.
•This Saturday morning, officials planned to continue the search near Wewoka Creek. They first found a purse, then a pocketbook that wasn't there before.
•Investigators now have to find out how she ended up in a remote area.

Condolences to Nancy's family. At least everyone now has closure.

I was somewhat surprised to read about her remains being found at Wewoka Creek. According to several LE reports, the area near her car was searched on foot, using tracking dogs, plus drone searches. They may not have searched this area near the creek, perhaps believing her recent medical issues wouldn't allow Nancy to walk this far? LE indicated earlier that Nancy's footprints led to the road and then stopped, which is why I believed that she may have been given a ride by someone.

So is the current LE theory that Nancy actually walked from her car to this location at Wewoka Creek?

Her footprints disappearing near the road could simply mean that the road was clear of snow in that area, so no prints would be visible.

I'm beginning to think that LE and searchers should be more liberal in their estimates of how far an individual "should" be able to travel in difficult circumstances/conditions. Little kids and older folks often surprise us with their actions and perseverance in extreme situations.

Thank you for this !

Investigators said they are treating the death of the missing Seminole woman as ‘suspicious.’

Investigators in Seminole County said they found her body Saturday morning using a drone. They spotted a purse in Wewoka Creek from the sky.

"Money, credit cards with the name Nancy Davis was still in there," Palmer said.

Her body was found nearby. Originally, the sheriff’s office said Davis stopper her car just south of Seminole near a bridge and walked down 1240 Road in the middle of a storm.

"This same area where we are at is where she called her husband at 10:40 and said she couldn't make it up the hill because of the ice," Palmer said.

Palmer said it is about a half of a mile from where she got out of her car to where she was found.
