Michael Slatton was taken by ambulance to a Tulsa hospital following his arrest. He seemed groggy but made an obscene gesture to the media as he was loaded into the ambulance.

Editor's Note: Previous versions of this story identified the girl who was the subject of an Amber Alert. We have since removed the child’s name and photograph due to the nature of the complaints against the man accused of kidnapping her.
bbm Does this mean sexual assault?

I've seen vehicles listed on other RSOs sites in the past...
:waitasec:
Many people were surprised Sunday's kidnapping suspect was caught in part because a store clerk saw the words sex offender stamped on Michael Slatton's driver's license.
The clerk says those words caught his attention because Slatton was acting strange and buying coloring books and crayons...
That information was key to Slatton's arrest and recovering the eight-year-old girl who'd been kidnapped. "That was a huge help," said Sergeant John Adams of the Tulsa Police Department. "That was our first bit of information."
Whataburger employee Shawn Scott said the driver of the vehicle asked several suspicious questions at the drive-through window, gave him a handful of change insufficient for a soft drink and then asked for a water...
Scott said he suspected the driver was intoxicated and called police with a vehicle and driver description, just as he would have with any other intoxicated driver passing through his window.
I got one handcuff on and the fight started between the two of us. He was able to finally get the car in gear and take off and I was being drug for a little bit. (I) saw gas meter there that I was afraid was gonna hit me, so I climbed into the vehicle on top of Mr. Slatton and we continued our altercation, our fight right there inside the vehicle, Teel said.
The two men were punching each other, as Slatton was driving through the parking lot, for about 100 feet, until Teel was thrown out and skidded on the ground in front of the Central Technology Center...
Less than an hour after the encounter in the parking lot officers found and arrested Slatton, a little more than a mile from that Whataburger, in the Ford Hill addition. And even though he was bleeding, Teel went up there.
"Nationwide, only 1 percent of those involved in a stranger abduction live more than three hours," Oklahoma Amber Alert Coordinator Gene Thaxton said. "A lot of things worked to the good last night, but I think it was the cooperation of law enforcement and the public help that led us to a good conclusion."
