Police are looking for a missing 7-year-old boy in Salem.

Dillon Wood was last seen at around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday when he left Hammond Elementary School. He lives near Northgate Park and is known to go there often, police say.

Wood is about 4 feet tall with a thin build, blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a black polo-style shirt, blue jeans, and black and blue shoes. He was carrying a transformers backpack.

According to reviews at this link, Northgate Park is not in a great neighborhood and is frequented by homeless and drug users.
