Do you have a link? Or did you DVR that?

I DVR'd it and played it back twice and my daughter heard it. Made no sense to me. It said that the mother of a sixth grader saw who she thought was his mother talking to the principle at the fair (I assume) saying that she didn't see the boy. Bad reporting is my guess.

Could his real mom have taken him, if she was coming to the school?

This child wasn't seen in any classes today meaning he has been missing since this AM? TIA

This is not going to end well.

Step-mom drops him off at class and yet teacher marks him absent as he never shows up to class.

Did anyone else see this child at the school? Or the step mom?

Praying for the best.

According to the news report on KPTV a sixth grader and her mom reported seeing him at the science fair with his step mom. Reports have been confusing so far today so don't know how correct it is. I would think if parents receieved automated phone calls regarding this that people who may have seen him today (including students) would call in and say if he was seen.

This just keeps getting worse, reporting-wise. I am not sure he ever went to school at all, personally...JMO

I hope LE is checking stepmom's cell phone activity/pings.

I'm not positive sightings at school were confirmed...it has been too contradictory...

Start from the beginning -
Kyron and step-mom were at the science fair this am, seen by a couple people, last seen around 8:30am.
Kyron was not seen in any classes during the day

Dad and step-mom called school to say Kyron failed to come home by bus only to be told their child was not in classes all day. omg

Seen by a couple of people? I haven't seen that stated in any article??

So, there was a witness who actually saw them there?

I heard there was a sixth grader and her mother reporting they saw him and his step mother on KPTV. I wouldn't say this has been confirmed though.

Portland police handed the case over to the sheriff's office, said Detective Mary Wheat, a police spokeswoman. The school, at 11536 N.W. Skyline Blvd., is in Multnomah County.

Lt. Mary Lindstrand, a sheriff's spokeswoman, said the agency would have searchers out as long as needed.

At 9:45 p.m., Lindstrand said she had more than 20 people, including detectives and two K-9 units, looking for Kyron in a broad area around the school. She requested that people stay away from the area to let searchers do their work.

Portland and Gresham police were assisting with the search, and the FBI was called, Lindstrand said.
