I am from portland as well. Don't post much but yes it is raining pretty good today. We have had some pretty wild weather the past few months! Please let me know if you have any questions. I live on the east side of Portland so I am not an expert on this school's particular area but I can answer general questions.

Apparently, there was an attempted abduction in St. Helens, OR (20 miles away)yesterday of a fifth grade boy.

Wow Im shocked people right in the area haven't heard. I understand why no Amber Alert. Wish there could of been some other alert. Why not still use the large amber alert signs for just missing children that just happen. Maybe a kid did could wonder a few miles and someone could see that child and recognize them from the board. Flash there pic on the highway. I don't know what to say. How do people not hear about these things.

Multnomah County Sheriff's Capt. Jason Gates said Kyron's stepmother brought him to school for a school science fair and last saw Kyron near his classroom at about 8:45 a.m.

Kyron was last seen by someone inside the school around 9 am (LE won’t comment on who saw him)

Another reporter asks for further clarification of earlier time line statements by LE
"I can't answer your question completely, but I can say the last point at which Kyron was seen was about 9:00 am, but uh . . ." (Then the reporter cuts him off.)
Later on, a reporter asks if the last sighting was by the stepmother or someone else: "I'm not able to give those details."

Hi Jules. You might consider adding

- that stepmom saw him in the hallway 150 feet from his classroom, that he waved good-bye, and that he said he was going to his classroom

- that TP saw him in the hallway, and that TP didn't mention seeing the stepmom

I think the hallway, and whether or not TP saw the stepmom (and where, e.g., was she walking with Kyron toward his classroom? was she turned away and walking to an exit?) is probably important in figuring out the sequence of events.

I posted the links for this info a little earlier. I'd be happy to pull them up again if you do want to add any of this.

Also may want to clarify that the south entrance info came from the references to the 'late morning' sighting by a student, which may or may not be the TP sighting, or the 9am sighting.

Wow - what beautiful cars he builds...details like this make me so sad to think about...Kyron doing the things he SHOULD be doing right now in his daily life as a 7 YO.
