Groundbreaking journalism right there.

I'm so glad I watched because it reminded me I wanted to find that term I think of when I think of Ammon Bundy - the thing where you don't know as much as you think you do?

Dunning–Kruger effect

The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which relatively unskilled persons suffer illusory superiority, mistakenly assessing their ability to be much higher than it really is. Dunning and Kruger attributed this bias to a metacognitive inability of the unskilled to recognize their own ineptitude and evaluate their own ability accurately.

What is Delemus a veteran of? If he was in the Service, what did he do?

"Former Marine" is all I've been able to find so far. He's 61 so probably too old for Iraq, Afghanistan, or Kuwait. I'm going to keep searching though.

He is married to State Rep. Susan DeLemus.

Jerry DeLemus, who heads a large chapter of the 9/12 group founded by Glenn Beck, attempted in 2013 to turn the Tea Party organization into a militia that might be used to overthrow the state government.

Jerry DeLemus is also quoted in the 2011 book, “The Tea Party and the Remaking of Republican Conservatism,” which highlighted his use of “vivid martial imagery” to strike fear of angry Tea Partiers into the heart of GOP elected officials.

Jerry and Susan DeLemus took part in a CNN panel in July, when they helped Trump weather one of his campaign’s early controversies after the real estate tycoon and reality TV star insulted Sen. John McCain’s (R-AZ) military service record as a former prisoner of war.

Her husband cited his own military service record to echo Trump’s insult almost word for word.

“As a Marine … we like guys who don’t get captured, too,” Jerry DeLemus said. “I don’t think that he meant that as an insult to POWs or the military at all.”

Hmmm.

Delemus says in his video above that he's a former Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps.

Jerry DeLemus for Sheriff Strafford County NH

Former Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. Founder of the Rochester 912 Project in Rochester New Hampshire in 2009. Former Chairman of the Granite States Patriots Liberty PAC and a strong supporter of our State and National Constitutions. NRA firearms instructor.

Vague. And former, not retired. What happened?

Not sure how you do that, but I'm taking absolutely discussed to mean he was all talked out, LOL!!!

Hubby suggested maybe they think discussed is the past tense of disgust?? LOL!:scared::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

I debated over posting this when I read it earlier today but it is via MSM.

Grant County sheriff viewed as 'security leak' as state seeks investigation

The Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training on Thursday released eight separate complaints, including ones from a 911 manager and the John Day police chief, alleging misconduct by Palmer. The complaints, filed the past two weeks, all raise alarm about Palmer's association with leaders of the refuge occupation.

The state agency, which licenses police officers, has asked the state Department of Justice to investigate. The licensing agency notified Palmer by letter dated Feb. 11 about its intentions, warning that if violations of police standards are found, he could face revocation of his police certification.

Bundy and his friends insist the county sheriff is the highest law in the land. I bet Palmer loved receiving their praise and encouragement.

Gray submitted radio dispatch logs to show that on Jan. 12 Palmer spent 3 ½ hours with militia leaders in John Day. Three days later, Gray said, Palmer met at his office in Canyon City with two men believed to be involved in the occupation and a woman Gray identified as Shawna Cox. She now is facing a federal charge for her role in the occupation.

One of the other militants who met with Palmer, Jon Ritzheimer of Arizona, said he and Payne autographed Palmer's pocket copy of the Constitution at the sheriff's request.

Sucker.
